Run down appearance, rooms open to outdoor balconies. When we arrived, there were many men hanging out in parking lot, on balconies. I didn't feel safe, especially with children accompanying me. I called after we got settled in another hotel (check out the Country Inn and Suites for a few well-spent dollars more) and explained the situation, manager not there. Manager was unresponsive to follow up phone calls until I filled out and unfavorable survey. Then she did return my call, but was belligerant and refused to budge on the non-refundable room charge. The parent company, Choice Hotels, was no help at all. We'll avoid this chain altogether in the future!
Pros: location in Cocoa, others are in Cocoa Beach (it's worth the drive!)
Cons: Ambience, customer service
