The cleaning staff do a great job of keeping the place clean, I have not had much to complain about. All in all for the professional traveler in this economy the Econo Lodge is a great place for you and will keep your boss from questioning your expense account. more

I recently had to relaocate to the eureka,ca area and was stuck in a hotel for over a week looking for a new home. I ended up lodging at the econolodge in eureka downtown area. I must admit the overcast weather and constant fog gave me a bad taste of the place at first, but after checking in I went to the office to get some pointers about the area. The inkkeper Resham was overly friendly and even went to the point of logging himself online and printing out directions and a map via mapquest to assist my searches. The room was of average hotel room size, clean, neat, and had all of the ammenities one expects from a three + star hotel. They had in room coffee makers, and a free continental breakfast to boot. I was always received with a friendly gesture and a smile from any of the staff from innkeeper to maid service. I would definitly reccomend Econo Lodge to anyone staying in the eureka area. The added plus of this location is its proximity to downtown, and the fact that i could take a short stroll to the historic downtown area to eat at local restaurants, and do some shopping at the little downtown shops. more

Really nice and reasonable accommodation with a helpful and thoughtful staff. Super great indoor pool for recreation. Adjacent restaurants and fast food for all tastes. Light continental breakfast and USA Today are hard to fine in these parts. I keep coming back because the staff take such great care of me. Give it a try at Econo Lodge when you are in the area; you won't be disappointed! more

work for military, statewide,3 months at a time at different cities.company pays ,so, if i dont like-i move.if you want spas & complimentary beverage hour go to embassy suites,but if you want a clean,quiet room close to restaurants and shopping then i recommend Econo Lodge. more

My work requires me to travel around Northern California and when I find a place to stay that fits my needs I usually return. The manager has done his most to make me feel that this is a place that I can stay when I am in town and need a room. The pricing is with in my companies guidelines, Any maintenance issues I bring up when I check out are usually dealt with when I return and get the same room. Not deferred or blown off. This hotel was a nice place to stay even if you're miles away from home. It's queit and has a wonderful indoor heated pool. The room was clean, comfortable, and had good service. The rates was amazingly cheap. There's a lot of shopping center around within walking distance. I enjoy my stay here and i would recommend that you should stay here too. more

Econo Lodge in Eureka was awesome. After a long day of sight seeing, I looked forward to coming back to the room and relaxing on the comfortable bed. The room was clean and staff was friendly. I am willing to definitely stay here again. The heated indoor pool was a plus! more

We enjoyed our stay at the Econo Lodge. It is at a great location, right near everything. There are restaurants and other fast food places around the motel. It is a very comfortable place to stay. They also have a continental breakfast, which is nice. The rooms are nice and the staff is great!!! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good motel. more

The econolodge was a great deal. We have children that love to swim and this time of year in Eureka an indoor pool is a must more
