Best

For almost 20 years Dr. Pam has taken care of my animals and has only provided the absolute highest level of veterinary medicine.

Trip to the vet. 12/27/2009

I have been taking my cat here since I got her in 09. She hates it, but I like that there is more than one doctor and the staff is really nice. Everyone who works here knows what they are talking about. They tell me what I need and what can wait, being a college student it saves me money. Sometimes there is a wait, but not too long. My cat has had all her vaccines and surgeries here with no complication. The prices are less expensive compared to others vets I have been to in the past. I have recommended this vet to friends and family. more

Very Happy about the service 8/7/2009

We gave them all of 30min notice that our dog needed his shots yesterday. Got an appointment right away. Took Zeke down there and was greeted immediately, they even trimmed his claws without us asking. The Vet got down on the ground with him and reassured him as she did her thing. She took her time speaking with us and answered my questions which I appreciated. This is the first time Zeke hasn't gone crazy to leave the Vet's office ( he just scratched at the door rather than launching his body at it)-LOL . It's good to see my 'ole Zeke get such good treatment from people who genuinely care Pros: Professionalism, Willing to go the extra mile Cons: None that I've found more

Great Place for Pets! 7/7/2009

This vet is so amazing. I took my kitten there the day after i found her and they helped me with everything. They answered all my questions and gave me a bunch of free kitten kits for my new kitten. I feel sorry for people that have not a good experience here, but it makes me mad that you would come on here and write something of that extreme. You have to give a place more than one try to make sure its the best place to go. After all, pets are family not just creatures we have to take care of. Thats why this is the best vet to go to because you are ensured that your animal will live a long healthy life! Pros: The best vet in the world Cons: Holding time on phone too long more

So Far So Good 4/9/2009

I have been taking my pets here for about 3 years and have no complaints. They are always attentive and I have never felt rushed. I turn in to a bit of a hypochondriac when it comes to my pets, and they are always patient and willing to see them, even when it's 10 minutes to closing time. They have fit us in at the last minute on more than one occasion. I have always found their prices to be reasonable. more

Great Vet 3/13/2009

I have used East Paulding Animal Hospital since they were on the corner of Dallas Highway and what was Dragestripe Rd.(They have moved to the new location now)As For the other reviews that were bad sometimes pets die and there is nothing that can be done. I have always know East Paulding to care about me and my pets. They have always been professional. They were so good to me when my kitten died, she was very sick and they told me up front it did not look good. They even sent me a sympathy card after she died. I take all of my animals here and recommend them highly. more

Awesome, Caring Vets! 2/13/2009

I had to write this review after reading the one previous. This animal hospital has been taking care of my 7 pets since they opened, and I love them. We have been through many ailments, and they always personally take care of my animals and me. They call me after a visit to check on my pet's status, and they have even sent me flowers after the death of a beloved pet...from kidney disease. Pros: wonderful people Cons: small parking area more

Do not go here with a sick animal 1/10/2009

The doctors are friendly and incompetent. Do not let them perform surgery on your pet! Go to a clinic that knows what they are doing and it's not this one. If there are any complications due to their surgery, run, do not walk to another expert vet who can undue their horrible mistakes before your beloved pet is dead. If something doesn't seem right, trust your gut, do not trust these doctors. Again run as fast as you can with your pet and get qualified help. more

If you want to see your pet alive again, run! 1/9/2009

If your pet is ill and you would like to see your pet again, run. This vet is OK for very routine issues. Vaccinations etc. For any surgery or anything complicated they are grossly inept. Especially if there are any complications. Go to a clinic that knows what they're doing and it's not this one. If they do operate on your beloved pet and something doesn't seem right, trust your gut before it's too late and you pet is gone forever. Run to a competent doctor or the pet emergency clinic and save your pet. This vets office can't handle anything but the routine and they don't know they're in over their head until it's too late and they are very reluctant to share the truth with you. You will find out all too late. Run, run for you pets life. Get out of there. more

Boarding 12/31/2008

If anyone would like to see the boarding area they will gladly escort you back and give you a short tour of the facility. Also, they will answer any questions you have about feeding, blankets, walking, etc. All you have to do is ask! more

Always helpful 10/3/2008

I have been taking my multiple pets (dogs, cats, bunnies, gerbils) to this vet for the past 6 years and have always been treated very kindly. They have been treated us with respect when when have lost pets and as stated below, even sent us a card expressing their condolances. The prices are better than PetMeds.com and they have always been willing to work with me on money issues and do not push you have things done that are costly (unless they feel they would truly be beneficial). I have always gotten an appt when I called (just today I got an appt in an hour). I recommend this place to everyone who asks me about a vet in the area. more

Wonderful, caring and great all around practice 9/8/2008

I've used this practice for all my furry babies for 10 years. I had to put one of my old kitties down last week and they spent lots of time with us. The vet was with us for everything and offered to let us stay as long as we needed even though they were crazy busy! I've always been amazed that the office staff remembers each and every animal and treats them like their own. And Dr. Fornwalt and the others are excellent vets, very up to date on the latest veterinary treatments and info. I can't recommend highly enough. Pros: Thumbs up all the way! Great staff, great vets, awesome service! Cons: That they don't treat humans! Seriously, if they had a separate cat waitin room they'd be nirvana! more

nice experience 9/8/2008

I had just recently moved to the paulding county area when my cat became ill. I called them and upon finding out that she was not eating, they scheduled an appointment for us first thing the next morning. They were quite busy, but the doctor took the time to understand what was going on. She was very knowledgeable and considerate. She provided me with an accurate diagnosis, treatment, and estimate of costs, and even offered to work things out with payment. My cat was operated on the same day, and by the next morning she was back home with me and doing great. They let me see her before and after her surgery and they even called me two days after I brought her home to check on her.It was nice to be treated like my cat is a part of my family (which she is).I recommend them. more

very best vet! 9/4/2008

My babies have been going to this place for 5 years. I have always had a good experience with them. Their prices are very reasonable and the staff are great. Yes, I've had a wait sometimes, but like the previous writer stated, it was because of an emergency with another pet that needed immediate assistance. The doctors spend time time with us "parents" answering questions and addressing concerns and seem happy to do that. The front desk staff are all very knowledgable and happy to answer questions when I call. What impressed me most are the other customers in the waiting room when I'm there with my "babies". All have been very complimentary when talking about this place while we're waiting to be seen. That says alot! more

They truly care 8/29/2008

I have used East Paulding Animal Hospital for about 9 years. We had a total of 12 pets up until recently I was honored to be with one of my babies when she left us, just as when she came into my life. The front desk staff is great, when chaos ensues, they always try their best and apologize for any delay.\r If ever there is a delay with my appointments - (and I have many!), I never complain as I know that whatever the reason, it is because the Doctors are taking care of someone else's pet - may be life threatening or life ending, and it is what I would want for any of my pets.\r I love the multi animal discount, and yes the parking is limited sometimes, and you may be on hold a few minutes at times when you call, but it is all worth it. \r When we recently lost one of our babies, they escorted us into a room through the side door, were professional and respectful at this very sad time. Two days later we received a card expressing their sadness too. They coordinate cremations well if desir more

Good for the basic cat and dog stuff only... 8/19/2008

We had been going to this vet for five years for all our cats and dogs needs. Front office help is adequate, though fall short on personal attention. The eldest staff member is the exception. Don't expect a personal and lasting relationship between you, your pet and the doctors because as soon as you walk out the door, they will have forgotten your name. Never once in the numerous times I brought my pets in, did a single staff member or doctor remember our names. They keep you waiting in the examining rooms for far too long and once the doctor comes in, he/she is biting at the bit to move on to another patient Pros: convenience and general competence for basic cat and dog care. Cons: Impersonal service. Poor interpersonal skills. Too busy -- doctors act harried. Expensive. more

Geat experience for a sad time 7/28/2008

Our first experience with this vet was to put down and cremate a long time friend. We had a 19 yr old cat that we had had for 18 yrs and we were told this would be the best vet that handles cremations as well. The experience was wonderful.. They were so kind and sympathetic. They got us in a room so we did not have to wait out in front in our grief, and also gave us proper time to say our good byes. After the final time, We received a nice sympathy card signed from the whole staff and we were treated as if we have been a customer for years when it was only our first visit. Now we got a new puppy and she needs to go in for shots and a diareah issue. When I called , as usual very friendly and attentive to the needs of our pet. Regarding the persons visit from 6/2008. I am not sure what happened other then the Drs were probably dealing with a major emergency in the back. I have worked for a vet, and it is standard that if the issues is not life threatening that the animal will be seen the more

Be forewarned! 6/22/2008

I thought that I had found a great vet when I took my puppy a few times prior to this horrific experience. My puppy started acting very strangely, she started to bite me and her paws. She had already had an issue with her paws when she was born, so I was very concerned. My puppy was getting wilder and acting more strangely by the minute. This was not normal behavior for my puppy! I rushed her to my vet and I knew I had to because it was almost closing time. I reached the hospital with a minute to spare. The front doors were locked and they told me to go to the back door. I told them what the problem was and the office reluctantly let me in. They then went to see if a vet could see me. The woman returned and told me that they would not see me because it was closing time. She then said that they could schedule me 2 days later. I was and am still infuriated because they could not see my puppy right then. I will not take my dog back to this vet because of this incident! I hope that you wil more

I have NO DOUBT this is a GREAT place to take your animal(s). 3/24/2008

I have visited just about every veterinarian's office in Paulding County and I am so thankful that I took my baby here, this office SAVED MY DOGS LIFE! I have been taking my two dogs and two cats to this animal hospital ever since, for over 5 years. I have never had an issue with anyone being rude, they have all been very patient and understanding with my babies and their needs. I make sure I go over shots that my pets need and don't need, so that I do not rack up a large bill. I highly recommend East Paulding Animal Hospital. more

Sensitive and caring doctors. 11/26/2007

We have been taking our Pet family to East Paulding Animal hospital since 1994. We have seen the practice grow from one Veternarian to several veternarians. The doctors have always been kind and caring toward our pets and sensitive to us. We have lost two kitty's due to old age (19 and 22), we have one with Diabetes, one with Feline aids thank goodness our dogs are in good health ages 14, 4 and two. more

Caring 11/16/2007

I love the vets here! Every one has been great to my dogs! I have used these guys for 5 years and have no complaints Tonya has cared for my dogs and is very good at explaining everything that is happening eat every stage. I have also boarded here for a few days in a pinch. The only down fall is that I have never seen where boarding is or that there is any outdoor accomadations for play time while boarding. more
