Dr. Allan Zeltser

Our family has been going to Dr. Zeltser since 1994 and have been so happy with the care and service. His staff works with both of my insurances to get me the best deal and he is always very thorough. Any time I have any questions or concerns he is there to help me. more

It was an awful experience. I have insurance, and he still charged me for a contact exam. I got a bad infection which I have never had in my life. It is still coming back. Went to see a specialist and was told there must have been something in that caused the infection during the exam. I told a friend and she too had the same problem with this doctor. Never going back ever!!!! more

Dr. Zeltser has been my eye Dr. for 14 years now, and I have absolutely no complaints. Every visit has been pleasant, every exam and lens prescription has been accurate. Dr. Zeltser is very concerned about his patients needs! more

Dr Zelser may be an experienced doctor but some reason he couldn't get my prescription right! I must of have gone back like 7 or 8 times to try new contacts and they never felt right so I finally just went ahead and pick one of them since it got was very frustrating! going back and forth What really got me is that he charge us for the fallow up appointments and I don't understand why since it wasn't my fault he couldn't get my prescription right but what really blew me away was he went ahead and order a year supply when I specifically told them I only wanted a 6 month supply! That unacceptable and very dishonest on their part because here I am with a year supply of contacts that I will probably never wear! Shame on you Dr zelser and his staff! His office bathroom is so dated! only a couple drops of water out the sink when you need to wash your hand! UNREAL! I hate being rip off! but Live and learn I guess!! more

I was recently out of town for a funeral when I ripped my contact and hadn't packed a replacement. I called Dr. Zeltser's office and the staff was so helpful. I must have talked to them a dozen times that morning while I searched for an office in the SF Bay Area that carried my unusual prescription. When I finally found something close, Dr. Zeltser quickly faxed a copy of the prescription with a note okaying the difference and I could see again! more

I started seeing Dr. Zeltser when I was living up in the SCV. He is professional, caring, and willing to go that little extra mile to make sure you are taken care of. As a matter of fact my first time going to him was an emergency (my glasses broke and I needed a new pair because I was doing deliveries), and he came in on his day off to give me my eye exam, and proceeded to work out a payment plan since I was a little short on the money. I now live in Canoga Park and I still drive up to Valencia for all my eye care needs. more

Dr. Zeltser is just fantastic! He is a skilled, experienced eye doctor who is friendly, accomodating, available and who is refreshingly warm and straightforward. His front office staff is THE BEST. The ladies who run his office are truly talented and professional! They just do everything RIGHT- from the scheduling, the hours, the service- and, of course- the eyecare! They run this office like a small-town, friendly kind of Doctor's office and not the impersonal Lenscrafters kind of vibe you may get elsewhere. He accepts many different insurance plans, too! more
