I had good memories of Dr. Schaeffer who started this practice many years ago. So when I moved back to the area after being away for many years I called and made an appointment when I was having a toothache. I was told that I had to see Dr. Whalen because Dr. Schaeffer was out of town. Then they made me wait 5 days to get in because there were no appointments available. I was in pain for 5 days. When I saw Dr. Whalen I was told I had an infected tooth and needed a root canal and a crown. I was given oral antibiotics and he started work drilling and cleaning out the tooth immediately. He put in a temporary filling and I came back a week later. He then did half of the root canal and as I was leaving the office clerk gave me a bill to pay for over a thousand dollars and said it would be 5% less if I paid in cash or by check. So,even though I could barely afford it I paid the entire bill with a check. A week later I returned thinking he would finish the job that day. Little did more

This place has been my family denitst for years. It's been many years since I have been here, but as I recall my childhood and early adult visits, it was always comfortable, no matter what. Now that we reside closer, I plan to take my young daughter. more
