Worst

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Catalina Island for the weekend. We have stayed at several Hilton's before and I have never experienced such poor quality before. ...

Doubletree is more like a Howard Johnson's 6/3/2009

I am not one to write a review unless I am so disgusted in my experience and this time I truly was. From the management to the maid service to the linens and towels in the bathroom, I was so disappointed. The rooms were filthy, and when I was asked to show the head of housekeeping where the mess was she said "oh sorry we will get that next time",next time, there will be no next time for me. I am taking my money to the Westin. Oh and then the management staff, so unprofessional ,now mind you I know I was not staying at the Westin which is my norm and I know I was in Carson( not the most metropolitan if cities) I guess what can I expect you can't hire the best of the best when you are so limited to what they have to hire in Carson. Truly disgusted and disheartened. Kelly Pros: I can't think of one. Cons: The bedding, the customer service, the food, everything more

Sad Weekend 7/11/2004

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Catalina Island for the weekend. We have stayed at several Hilton's before and I have never experienced such poor quality before. On our first night we arrived late and were given a room with a broken bed, and a plogged shower. The next morning I informed the staff of the issues with the room and was given a new room right away. However, I was offered no apology or any compensation for the horrible room. The new room was good, no broken bed or plogged shower. Upon check out I spoke to a supervisor who promised to comp the movie and breakfast we had. To date there have not been any credits to our account. I am dealing with however a $50.00 mysterious charge from them that neither my husband or I know anything about! Plus, the jacuzzi was cold! Pros: Starbucks Coffee, Good food in diner Cons: , Not "Hilton Quality" more
