As much as people make fun of Carson, this school is not dangerous or ghetto at all. I went here for my last two elementary years and the teaching staff are excellent. There were no fights that I can remember of. I felt safe here even though I was new and unaccustomed to the street culture at the time.

This school is not too bad. I visited it a few years back and this school has made a tremendous change. The school is constantly expanding. Old buildings are being remodeled as well as new buildings are being built. The new WH building is amazing. This building has all of the latest technology located in it. The people that work on campus are wonderful. As a grad student, I don't experience a lot of what undergrad life is like, but what I do get to experience I enjoy. I wish the campus could be build a little faster. The Student union was leveled the day of entrance into the program, and will not be finished until next year in the fall. That means I will only have 1 semester to enjoy it. Oh well. But again, this school is up and coming!

I'm reviewing this as a concert venue since it doesn't seem to be in the right category. Anyway, it's not a bad place to see a show. It's a bit out of the way from Los Angeles and traffic getting there can be horrendeous. I like that for shows with a general admission floor, the floor is divided up so that section on front of the stage ("the pit") isn't too big thus safer. However if you want to be in that section, come early! It takes around 30 minutes for the floor line to walk through metal detectors, wristbanded and walk to the actual floor.
