Worst

Double T gives you large portions but the food is really not all that good.

Awwwwwful 12/27/2017

Went for carryout breakfast got the bacon, egg and fried potatoes. Fried potatoes were old and had been reheated at least 3 times they were tough, bacon was microwaved at least several times and was tough and tasteless, ask for scrambled eggs got warm eggs with 2 slices of cheese that wasn't even melted. The best thing about the breakfast was the toast. They should be ashamed to even serve such nasty food. Take my advice and don't ever go there. Gave it 1 star for the toast you can't go wrong with toast. And they charged $8.99 for that horrific breakfast. more

Menu Prices Have Skyrocketed! 9/9/2012

Still good food, but for two people getting the cheesesteak sub platter with coffee the bill was $24.00. That's outrageous for a diner - I can go anywhere for lunch if I need to spend that much. I used to eat there once per week but no more. Tim (Red Lion, PA) more

Yum! 6/27/2006

My boyfriend took me to this place the first time. I didn't think I would like it, but I really did. The best thing about the Double T is that they are open all night. They also have a pretty good gyro platter, with enough food to fill up pretty much anyone. It's a good value for the price. Some of the cakes & desserts they have here are also really delicious. Next time you're looking for something casual and inexpensive, you may want to try to the Double T. more

Large portions, great food! 8/12/2005

If you're hungry, head over to Double T Diner on Rt. 40. With HUGE portions and reasonable prices, you can't go wrong. This is definitely one of our favorite places to head for dinner, even if the service can sometimes be so-so, the food makes up for it tenfold. No matter what you're in the mood for, it's probably on the menu! One of my personal favorites is their Chicken Parmasean Sandwich, YUMMY! Sometimes we head up there just for dessert, and it's totally worth it! From cannolis and fresh ice cream to strawberry shortcake and giant cookies, they've got something for every sweet tooth! more

Great food, huge servings, open 24hrs 8/11/2005

The Double T Diner is the place to go to when you get a craving for anything at 3 in the morning. Like a standard diner, it has a casual atmosphere with plenty of choices on the menu: from breakfast anytime to burgers to pasta to desserts. The Double T menu is almost overwhelming, probably offering 300+ choices. The meals are huge, and come with tons of sides: you'll get your dinner, and lunch (and maybe even dinner) for the next day. The service is attentive, but doesn't hover, and servers and chefs will let you order something that's not even on the menu. more

Fun for a casual family meal 8/5/2005

Family owned and operated, the Double T Diner at the corner of Route 40 and Rolling Road in Catonsville is a traditional diner with a huge menu and an equally huge fan club. Although the diner has a large capacity, at busy times (especially Sunday brunch) it’s hard to get a seat and the servers are overworked (and consequently not always attentive). But the food is good and plentiful and the atmosphere fun, as a diner should be, and the prices are a bargain. I love going for weekday breakfasts with my kids when we can relax and enjoy ourselves. The parking lot is difficult—there are usually plenty of spaces, but often badly angled or inconvenient to the entrance. more
