From the moment you call to schedule an appointment, to the moment you walk through the door and check in, and all the way through the moment you leave Starr Orthodontics, it is nothing but superior service. The entire staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and comforting. Getting braces as an adult was a big decision for me, but the staff made me feel so at ease that it was a no-brainer to have Starr Orthodontics be in charge of my treatment. I would strongly recommend them to anyone needing orthodontic treatment, younger and older. more

From the first visit back a few years ago, we knew we were in the right place! Dr.Starr and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and first class! Although my teeth were very crooked- Dr. Starr explained that we needed to wait before putting on the braces. He was SAVING us money! Then when it was finally time to put the braces on, every person involved was kind, generous with their time, and generally fantastic. My teeth have straightened out quickly, and I've had no problems with my braces. The staff gets us in and out of the office quickly, and always with a smile. There is absolutely no doubt in our minds that choosing Dr. Starr was the best decision we could've made! more

Chandler (age 12) just got her braces on yesterday and was very nervous about it but the Starr team made her experience a great one from start to finish. They explained everything to her each step of the way. They made her laugh and kept her comfortable. The whole team rocks! Thank you for making her big event such a special one! more

Although, it's a wonderful milestone to have the braces off the last child, we'll certainly miss our regular visits to Dr. Starr's office! The patient care has been outstanding, the communication without flaws and the staff have been warm/friendly always! On top of that, our kid's smiles are amazing! Thank you. more

We have our third and last child as a patient at this office. We have always been more than satisfied with every aspect of treatment. The happy yet accountable manner that each and every person presents, has allowed our children to get braces and actually look forward to the visits. What more could a mother ask for?!?! more

Scared of needles! 1/7/2011

My daughter Madison was extremely scared when I picked her up from school to go to her consultation appointment. Friends at school had been telling her that getting braces was awful and scary because there would be lots of needles involved. We arrived at Dr. Starr's office to a very friendly group of ladies. Carol was especially nice to us and explained all the nice things that we were going to experience while in treatment. Julie was great and explained everything to Madison so that she wouldn't be at all scared when she got her braces on, assured her that there would absolutely not be in needles involved with getting braces. Madison immediately felt comfortable and even started joking around with Dr. Dickens about his choice in college team "Carolina"(Madison is a DUKE FAN!!)I am sure she will get along well with Dr. Starr and looks forward to her next appointment. Kim and the others at Starr Orthodontics have helped the past 2 years fly by. Being an adult patient who never had braces as a teenager, I was scared to death. The payments options were fair and accomodating and it just amazes me how smoothly things go each time I visit. Dr. Starr and Dr. Dickens take their time to explain each and everything they do. My daughter is four, but when she is ready for orthodontics, I couldn't imagine taking her anywhere else. Thanks for all of your help! (I have an appointment to have my braces off on March 21st!!!) more
