Dental Team The

I have been to this office in Coral Springs and an office up in Palm Beach. Both are run the same....at first I was impressed with how fast they took me in, even before my appt time since I arrived early. They seemed very nice until they started trying to find ways to do work that wasnt covered by my insurance. What really got me angry was when I was having problems with my wisdom teeth, I needed to get a panoramic xray done. Well the girl messed it up so I had to go back and get it done again. So I went back and they did it again. Then they told me that I needed them to be taken out and that it would be a certain amount of money....well I had called around before to get quotes for the surgery and the amount dental team gave me was more than the amount other places were quoting me and that was without insurance. So I immediately questioned them on the pricing which was then they got nasty. So then I was ready to leave and the girl at the front desk asks for my co-pay. I told her I came in b/c they messed up the xray and I should have to pay for their mistake. So I left without paying and called my insurance company to find out that I needed a referral before seeing any oral surgeon, something dental team interestingly neglected to tell me. When I went to the one in Palm Beach, again they tried to charge me for things that werent covered by my insurance. That is when I deciced that I would never go back to any Dental Team office again! more

Our insurance covers this dental group. My daughter was not losing her baby teeth but her adult teeth were coming in. It was necessary for her to have her baby teeth pulled before the adult teeth crowded everything. We took her to this dental group. The dentist hemmed and hawed and really did not want to pull them. She suggested we try another time. I really think she didn't like working with kids. I insisted she do it and it was not a big deal. My daughter had no trouble with the Novocaine and in a few minutes the deed was done. My daughter was not scared until the dentist kept insisting we come back later. It was all a very ridiculous situation. I do not recommend this dentist for young children! We have since changed our dentist and informed our insurance carrier of the incident. more

This place is awesome. I have been going here for about 4 years and they always gentle on my teeth, and I don't really have to pay anything thanks to my insurance :) Again this is a great dental place, and it is right infront of the Coral Square mall.. more
