Dej Salon Kicks A** 8/16/2007

Definitely make a stop at Dej and make sure to visit Christine when you do - tell her Sara sent you. She's excellent. She really takes the time to listen to what you want and will even throw some of her ideas your way if you wish. She's very thorough and takes time on your hair. She's incredible. Beverly Hills in the valley 6/19/2007

Top in her profession, Damasque has consistently proven herself to be one of the most competent and talented stylists on the west coast.She could well work in Beverly Hills, but chooses to remain in the Valley. She is down to earth and listens to her clients with a genuine home spun quality. Laurie Ann is a the best hair stylist I have ever had! 6/8/2007

I made a huge mistake last year by dying my hair brown... when I moved to California I wanted to go back blonde... Laurie Ann did a fabulous job and my hair is not even damaged after such an extensive treatment! She uses the highest quality hair products, has amazing talent, and she is great to talk to! If you need a great stylist whether it is for a cut or color... I highly recommend seeing Laurie Ann! Pros: A great hairstyle... plus she is fun more

ERICA IS A LIFESAVER...OH AND AN AMAZING STYLIST! 5/12/2007

Hormones took over and made me act rash and walk into a salon in studio city. Bad idea. Remembered running into Erica and getting a great vibe. Called Dej salon and they fit me in ASAP. Erica has been doing my hair for about a year now, and everyone I send to her is just as happy as I am. All my family and friends see her and we all love her. She is great with a classic or funky styles. I am so glad I found her. Thank you Dej Salon. Pros: consistent color, precision haircuts, fun atmosphere, fashion foward, great selection of haircare products. Cons: none to speak of more

I have to say that damasque is very energetic, and fun to be around, she loves what she is doing,and it shows from the way you look when you leave. She gives a wonderful hair wash, massaging your head and shoulders, this is the best part of getting your hair done is the massage. She is attentive to your needs while you wait for the color,or the perm, to finish. Everyone is friendly a the salon, and it is very spacious, so you don't feel cramped. You have to see Damasque! She's great. She even works sundays. If you want the loud crazy saturdays, she does that too. Personally, I prefer the solice and peace of sundays. What ever your hair needs, give her a call! She is very experienced and most importantly, very honest. I think her honesty and integrity are hard to find these days. The search stops here - Laurie Ann is the best! 2/20/2007

I have been searching for a stylist who listens to me and colors/cuts my hair the way I want it since I moved here 2 yrs ago ... and I can finally stop looking! I was able to get an appointment right away - didn't have to wait a week or 2 like most salons I have gone to. Laurie Ann was on time, so personable and actually listened to my ideas and what I wanted ... I am thrilled with the cut she gave me and even more happy with the way my color and highlights turned out. I can not wait to go back to her! She gives you great recommendations without being pushy or obnoxious - it's like talking to your best friend. Give her a try - you won't be disappointed. I found my hair stylist for life! 2/17/2007

I can say with ease that I have found my hair stylist - Christine! I take comfort in the fact knowing that I could go to her just knowing that I want something done to my hair and she would give me a style or color way beyond my expectations! She absolutely gets it! I completely trust her with every lock of my long hair because I know that whatever she does with it she makes sure it compliments my style and pinpoints the look I'm trying to achieve! I believe that for a woman, the way your hair looks is one of the major attributes to your overall presence, and thanks to her i always feel gorgeous! Christine is the absolute best stylist! 2/13/2007

Ok folks...I finally found the best stylist. I was recently referred to Christine over at Dej Salon and she gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had. I have traveled over the hill and through this Valley to find a stylist who just ""gets it"" and she totally does. Not only is Christine a great stylist but Dej has to be one of the coolest salons I've ever been to. The atmosphere was awesome and totally mellow. I went on a Saturday and there was a DJ spinning records! I've had such a great experience with a salon. I actually can't wait for my next haircut. Pros: Just an over all great experience. more

Am I happy I walked into Dej salon!!! 1/29/2007

I feld kinda weird. I didn't want a hair cut cause I want to let my hair grow. So I walked into Dej salon for advice (my former hair stylist always tried to make me come back every few weeks, grrrr) and DAMASQUE helped me. People, she is good! She took time to talk and ""listen"" to me, helped me find out what I want and what works for ME, what fits my personality, not what is the hottest style for guys now. So she suggested which steps to take to grow out my hair gracefully. \r Finally someone who does more than just a haircut, who doesn't say ""Oh, this is what most guys do now"" or ""this is ""in"" now."" Damasque looked at what fits ME, and I can tell you, the response I get, the looks I get... I feel good! Thank you Damasque. I HIGHLY recommend you !!! Cons: Parking more

Damon rocks. 1/29/2007

Hairstylist Damon is a true artist. I guess it only makes sense, but he really gives you a hair cut (and color) that make you feel like a million bucks...going to him is like going to a great concert. My first time with him (over 2 years ago) I told him I didn't want high maintanence hair, but was thinking about highlights. He highlighted my hair from underneath, so that little pieces of it show through, but so I don't have to come back often to do the roots. Brilliant! Pros: Damon, and the atmosphere's nice, too, if you care about that sort of thing. Cons: Can't really think of any. more

dej salon is sooo cool and Damasque is wonderful at getting to know you, taking the time in her consultation, and making sure your'e happy. She is such a perfectionist that she was chasing me out the door because one hair was not quite right. My color was so messed up before and she fixed it.! I had a great experience at Dej. I went to Lauren who was chill and easy to talk to. She gave me a great cut, exactly what i was looking for and created a great color for me as well. The atmosphere is very hip and comforting at the same time. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an amazing salon experience at a reasonable price! ERICA FOR EXTENSIONS, CUT & COLOR! After I saw the hair extensions she did for my best friend, Jessica, I raced to Dej salon to see what she could do for me. \r \r *** I WAS PAYING DOUBLE WHAT ERICA CHARGES! ****\r \r Erica has stunningly beautiful hair herself, which made me feel more comfortable trusting her with mine. (She actually looks like an elitist super model, but the book doesn't match the cover because Erica is small town humble, warm & charming!) When I say that she made me look more beautiful than I've ever been in my entire life I am not exaggerating. Men are now staring at me everywhere I go. Just today three complete strangers told me I have beautiful hair, and two coworkers complimented me effusively on my new look! \r \r Looking and feeling this pretty instantly changed my life. Favrile is great! 6/15/2006

I've followed Favrile for a few years now, and only strayed once in an emergency (disaster!). She listens to what you want, yet has never been wrong when I tell her ""Do whatever you want, it's only hair."". She will also take you last minute and squeeze you in. Very good person also. more
