Love My Hair - Love the Stylist 9/20/2004

After reading the reviews on citysearch I decided to go to Dej for a haircut. I'm soooo glad I did. Rose is an amazing stylist who knows how to cut!! Not only is she great at cutting, but she's very personable as well. I no longer have long, boring hair. My hair looks fantastic!! Kim Ball genius at work... 9/15/2004

I have been going to Kim for years now and it's always a great amazing experience. I am a challenging customer in the things I constantly choose to do to my hair, and Kim always surprises me by surpassing my expectations...no matter what challenge I set before her. Kim has the unique talent of knowing when I need to hear great gossip for my hours with her and when I've had a hellacious week and am craving only relaxing silence while her genius hands work their magic. For years Kim has been giving me the kind of gorgeous hair that gets me literally stopped on the street all the time. My hair will never be without Kim - she's the best. Kim Ball Rocks! 9/6/2004

I was visiting a friend in LA and decided to treat myself to a visit to the salon, nothing fancy just a great hair cut...some highlights and did I luck out! Kim was able to squeeze me in and it was the best decision I made that trip. My hair looked amazing - and for a great Salon price too. Glo is the best Hair Stylist in LA! She is creative, bubbly and smart - and I'm just talking about her styling abilities. I would recommed her to everyone - she excels at all styles and colors. Just being in her presence is a treat in itself. Dej Salon is great too! It has a great feel inside it and looks gothicly fabulous. more

Gloria is God's Gift to Dej! 7/21/2004

If Don is King then Gloria is Queen. I have followed Gloria for the past 10 years. Dej is by far the best salon she has ever worked in. Working in the Entertainmnet Industry, I have referred many of my clients, colleagues, friends and family members to her. Not one person was disspointed and all of them were very happy with the unique style that Gloria created just for them. I personally love her coloring techniques. I always get complements on my hair. If your looking for a place that you can walk in feeling drab and walk out feeling and looking great- Jacy at Dej Salon was the best referal I've ever had!! She was so stylish, so kind, patient, not in a rush and really listened to what I wanted.( At the same time she was hilarious!) Her personality made my visit a blast and her skill was outstanding. To top it off her prices were very reasonable. more

Don Is King 5/20/2004

I really appreciated the care and skill that Don and his assistant Carly gave to me when I visited Dej Salon for the first time as their new client. After a brief consultation with Don I knew I was in good hands. My color and style is terrific. All of the stylists are happy, everyone is smiling. Favrile is amazing 5/7/2004

I have been a loyal customer of Favrile C. at Dej Salon for several years. She is the most talented and creative stylist. Every time I have my hair done, I walk out of the salon feeling like a new woman. Her color techniques are awesome and she always styles my hair to perfection. She is very accomodating and has always managed to take care of me, no matter how short the notice I've given her, she will squeeze me in somehow. I am her biggest fan. My husband and mother are also loyal clients. (She also is an amazing masseuse...) more

Loft-like Salon 4/26/2004

The atmosphere of Dej is a lot like the Manhattan salons. I highly recommend Jennifer as a stylist - she has a very relaxed and relaxing personal style and her color and cuts are FANTASTIC. Among the best I've had. Pros: valet parking, jennifer, environment more

Great find in the Valley 1/16/2004

Dej is one of the most relaxed salons I have been to in a while. The staff is friendly, helpful and very talented. Jennifer was my stylist, who listened to me and gave me exactly what I asked for (if not better). The salon is very spacious, with exposed brick walls similar to a New York-style loft. And let's not forget that they have a complimentary valet service, so you don't have to waste time trying to find a parking space. Pros: Complimentary Valet, Skilled stylists, Great Atmosphere more
