I've been dealing with D&R for several years. I trust their integrity because of the way they treated me on day 1. They told me I didn't need the expensive replacement the Dealer had told me. That did it for me. more

Quality Car Care 12/23/2014

Took my car in because the check engine light was on and it was running rough. Mechanic found a bad spark plug that had become corroded and fused in the socket. They took the time to soak the socket in a cleaning/lubricating solution over night and then carefully worked the plug back and forth through the threads until it was freed. Most places probably would have just snapped it off and charged me for extra repairs. I appreciate that they had the patience and knowledge to fix it right. Car is purring very happy. Price was very reasonable, service was excellent! more

Mechanical Expertise with a Human Heart 11/27/2014

Very responsive to what I say I need AND proactive about alerting me to problems I'm not aware of. Yet I've never felt they're just pushing an up-sale. Also, they've gone out of their to accommodate my schedule. I appreciate that they actually remember how I brag about my kids and ask questions during subsequent visits that show they listened! In other words, even though my vehicles are mechanical objects that require expertise for maintenance and repair, I feel they treat me as a human being. I really appreciate that they buck the trend of treating people like numbers or objects. more

Great Communication & Work 10/29/2014

I've worked for Mitchell 1 ,13yrs and now at Mitchell International. I sold the software they used to fix my car. I've never had such a great experience. They communicated everything , didn't over charge me , didn't over sell me on things I didn't need fixed. Also explained the work that needed fixed and items that I could hold off on. I know the automotive world very well and I highly recommend this shop. On top of doing a great job the people Dave & Ron are amazing , friendly and caring. I just moved to Santee and am happy I found a shop I love. I have already told others about it. Since I have the software I can check to see that everything was charged and entered properly for labor and they were perfect. They weren't just trying to fix my car and get me out of there..
