We've worked with Creative Property Management for about 17 years now. They manage my house in Seaside. I like Matt, the new owner, he's been there for a few years now. They have taken good care in finding long term renters, and we just recently had a lot of work done on the house that they supervised, and they did a nice job supervising. Everyone we've dealt with is courteous and professional. Their pricing is fair, standard, and reasonable. If you're looking for a premiere property management firm, hire this one! more

I called Creative Property Management after my fridge broke down. They were able to get someone to come within a few hours to help. They decided to replace it, and that same day they put in a brand new fridge. They chose one on our behalf, and I was happy with it. It was a little smaller, but brand new so I couldn't complain. They were very helpful. Anytime we have any issues we can call them and they will fix anything. more

Creative Properties has managed our Carmel home for the past 3 years while we lived on the East coast. They did a terrific job of finding wonderful tenants...keeping both the tenants and ourselves happy during that time...and having the house ready for us when we moved back. I rented from them a long time ago, and now I am again. They very friendly , and willing to help. When I have had needed small repairs done to my apartment, they have been right over to fix them. The apartment that I rented was clean when I moved in, and the hallways and common areas are well maintained. I have been very happy with the office personnel as well, as they have always been prompt getting back to me when I have questions. I have recomended Creative Property to my friends and co workers who have asked me about renting an apartment or house, and I will continue to do so. Pros: null Cons: null more

I have been a tenant before at this company. I rented a condo in Monterey I never had any problems they gave me my deposit back. Now 9 years later I am currently renting a house with this company and whenever I call for maintenance they respond immediately at least the next day the problem is resolved. Worst property management in Monterey 11/5/2008

I have never encountered such a poorly run management company in my life. I went in to the office,which is filthy,dirty little mobile home looking office to hear yelling in the back room. Listening to the conversation, you really have no choice, since the office is so tiny, it was "the manager" yelling at a tenant about parking. The manager, her name is Jill, is a short,fat,bleached blonde, looking so unprofessional with food stains on her shirt just abusing her tenant. If you dont speak spanish forget speaking with the dimwil at the reception desk, she only speaks spanish her english is minimal at best, eating a burritto at her desk. All the signs are in spanish first then english, and whike I was there at least 15 hispanics came in, not one American, The critera to rent from Creative is 3 times the amount of rent, with great credit... I'm prestty sure the cook at Baldemeros hardly fits that but he was renting from them. Botton line..if you arent hispanic, you wont be renting from Creative. 90% of their rentals are hispanic with mutilpe occcupancy laws broken.. maybe if you sent Jill a dozen jelly donuts she might slide you in. Pros: has some good properties Cons: disgusting ,foul mouthed staff..totally unprofessional more

Worst Management Ever 3/10/2008

I agree with the below. Please do not use this company. Since the beginning they have found any way they could to empty my pockets. First, during contract signing we agreed they would pay water and garbage, then they called 2 weeks later and changed their minds. I had no included utilities. Then, I scheduled a pre-inspection for move-out and specifically stated I wanted to be present. For some reason, they decided to come 2 days early while I was at work and just left a note on the stairs stating "clean and clean carpet". I called the place and they said it should be pretty easy for me to get my deposit back. Pros: May work with you if you are assertive. Cons: Everything Else more

Caters to hispanics 3/3/2008

Unfortunately the review above is spot on. JIl the so called manager is rude and doesn't care about her tenats unless you are hispanic. You have to have great credit to rent from them but I live next to a family from Mexico that aren't legal, have false documents, have 6 kids and moved in 2 other families and they live there. I know the docs are fakes because my neighbor on the other side sold them to this family. They also charge a huge cleaning deposits and don't clean the apartments but rent to hispanics and let them clean it, this came directly from a member of their staff. Jill needs to be investigated for illegally renting to illegal immigrants and before anyone slams me I am hispanic, born and raised in california. Beware of creative, try Mangold.
