I love Cracker Barrel cheese, so I though this would be a good place to eat. I was wrong. The food is on par with a Bob Evans, Perking, Country Kitchen, etc. Not bad, but not impressive. However, this place seems to believe in over charging for fair to moderate food. If it was really good, the prices would be acceptable, but it is not. The retail products that they sell are also highly over priced and not at all unique or high quality. Over pricing seems to be a theme here. I will say that the service is great and they have a very nice staff, but the low quality of the food just doesn't make a return trip worthwhile. more

Not my favorite 4/14/2006

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store always has a full parking lot and often quite a wait for a meal. That being said, I'm not impressed with this place. I think the food is not any better than you could cook at home and the prices aren't that great either. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, but often the servers and other staff members aren't. Breakfast is an ok meal to eat here, but the meal entrees for dinner and lunch aren't anything special. I think this place mainly attracts an older crowd. The little gift shop out front is very cute and sometimes I do run in there if I'm looking for an unusual gift. I just think for the wait time and price you could eat somewhere a lot better quality and have a better experience. more

BEST Breakfast ever!! 4/4/2006

I have never eatten lunch or dinner at Cracker Barrel, but we LOVE to eat breakfast here! They have the best pancakes around ~ and I am not a big pancake eater! Their syrup is yummy. I also love roaming around the country store, looking at their different items they have for sale. It is such a fun and cozy place to eat. If you are a big breakfast eater, you have to check it out. You will not be disappointed! more
