Worst place in the world trying to scam money out of me 4/26/2011

My dog has gone here for 6yrs out of the six years this place has NEVER sent my meds through the mail. I had called and had his pills refilled and they mailed them without payment which they have never done before and they have always said before that you had to pay in full before they would give meds or any kind of service and this time they mailed them I never recvd them and they are wanting money from me the full 50 dollars I asked who signed for the pills they said no one that the post office said they put them in my mail box I have NEVER recvd them and my dog has no thyroid in his body i am sure since we have not had the meds to take and told them i would bring him up and they could run his blood they said no I still owe them the money so at this point I guess I have to pay for something I never got... Very upset with this place to top that off they said the last time he was in I never paid for his toenail clipping but I did and had proof from my bank statement on that so looks to me they are not running there place like it should be will never take my dog there again I guess I need to find a new vet...Or they need to get people in there that know how to take care of business and not always saying they never recvd payment more

Best Pet Care Facility 10/21/2010

This is the best animal clinic/groomer I have ever taken my dog to. Kind, caring and friendly. When my dog was hit they offered alternatives to surgery that worked and also helped with his rehab. \r \r I can't imagine having a poor experience......... more

Find another vet 9/20/2010

I've heard from more than one person not to go there. I used to go there, but never again. If you value your pets, find another vet. There are good ones around and a lot of bad ones too. more

The Greatest!! 8/10/2010

Dr. Kendrick is the only vet I would take my tortoises and turtle to. He really knows about them and has helped mine stay healthy. I don't know what I would do for their health care if Dr. Kendrick was not in practice.\r Dr. Neece has also helped my aging parrot sooo much! My parrot has had some health issues that were handled with care and properly.\r What a great staff and so considerate and caring. I can't say enough good things about them. more

I had great hopes for this facility 7/29/2010

It's unfortunate, I had great hopes in this facility. Don't allow your pet to go without you to the back of the clinic. One of the front desk receptionists doesn't know how to handle a busy office, and is not very professional when under this type of stress. When I was finally put into an exam room it smelt horrible. I went back twice by choice; the other times weren't by choice. The back office staff does well and mistakes/accidents happen I get it; just don't allow your pet to go back without you. more

Best vet ever 2/11/2010

I have used this service since 1997. I have been very pleased with them. I have used Dr. Gardner (now Neece) the most and have also used Dr. Kendrick. They are knowledgble and truly caring individuals. Will not go anywhere else! more

Knowledgeable, caring vet 9/17/2009

Dr. Kendrick is an excellent vet that has been caring for my pets for years. He was able to diagnose and treat my dog after two other vets had misdiagnosed him. I trust Dr. Kendrick implicitly and would never take a pet anywhere else. Pros: Extremely knowledgeable about veterinary medicine Cons: None more

Country Club Pet Hospital is Outstanding with Snakes 9/8/2009

Took my snake in because of not eating (not a little one, 7 ft). Got excellent treatment, complete explanation of care needed, showed me how to treat her condition. Did follow-ups at very reasonable price. \r \r When I called, got me in immediately. \r \r Dr. Kendrick was superb with my exotic-reptile. Will take her back for all care. \r \r Highly recommend to anyone. more

Country Club Pet Hospital is miss diagnosising illnesses. 8/4/2009

My dog was miss-diagnosed by Dr. Neece. I think they are fine for routein care, but any illness I would suggest a second opinion. Unfortunately I spent over $1800 before I got a second opinion that did not confirm Dr. Neece's diagnosis. Be careful, our pets count on us to make the best decision on their behalf. more

Rude Office Manager 6/13/2009

I had previously used Country Club vet years ago and had a great experience. When we adopted a dog this year, I decided to go back. Mistake. The form you fill out to have your pet seen requires a driver's license number and your SOCIAL SECURITY number. If they were filing insurance or filing for my taxes, they might need my SS #, but for a dog? Please. The office manager claimed that they required a SS # in case they had to turn it over to collections for non-payment (SS# are NOT required to collect a debt) or in case they needed to do a credit check (I was not applying for credit, and I would have to give permission for a credit check). When I refused to give my SS # because of concerns about identity theft, I was rudely told to leave and that they would not see my dog. If you don't mind giving your SS # to strangers for no particular reason, then go ahead and go here. If you do mind, stay away. Cons: rude office manager more

WOW........ 3/13/2009

Just got back from this place and I have to say it was a great experience. The staff was caring and concerned as well as informative and professional. They did not try to rip me off! So many places would've offered services that were unnecessary just to get my money and this place did not do that.\r \r I called for a minor emergency and they took me right in.\r \r Dr. Lindsay Beckendorf, quite a young woman, was patient and took the time to talk to me about many things regarding my pet aside from what I was even there for. \r \r A great big THUMBS UP for this place! I look forward to going back again soon with my other pets. more

Great place to Kennel your animals 2/2/2009

We have only used the Country Club Pet Hospital for kenneling our dog. They take great care of our little chihuahua and he comes home clean and calm. Their workers really care for each and every animal and it shows when we pick up our dog each time. more

UNSANITARY CONDITIONS 5/21/2008

There was dried urine on the floor and even feces on the exam table. Very unexpected for high dollar clinic such as this. Pros: NONE Cons: Very unsanitary more

The Best General Practice Vet, 5/16/2008

Dr. Roger Kendrick is the most caring and gentle vet, we have ever come in contact with. We have a Blue and Gold Macaw, and now an elderly Siamese Cat. We had to have our beloved Maine Coon Cat, Max, put down to day. Dr. Kendrick handled it with grace and dignity. I feel that he made Max as comfortable as he could be at the end. He kept us informed, several times during the day, for which we are very grateful. He also offered to handle the final arrangements for us. He, appropriately, referred us to The Texas A & M School of Veterinary Medicine for a problem my Macaw was have as a chronic egg layer. With the joint collaboration of both, we seem to be getting this problem under control. We especially thank you for all your caring and knowledge, and for all that you will do in the future, to insure the health and well-being of our pets. more

The world's best vet resides here 2/25/2008

I live in Austin, Texas. This is a 3 hour drive for me to take my animals to see Dr. Kendrick. I have tried several different vets in Austin, but none have shown my animals the care that Dr. K does, period. He is, hands down, the best vet for all pets, i.e. ferrets, birds, dogs, cats, iguanas, guinea pigs, etc. etc. that I have ever found. He has an uncanny gift for finding exactly what is wrong with sick animals and has an extraordinary ability to heal. When I had sick ferrets or my dogs have become suddenly ill, he has met me at his clinic at 3am in the past. He became a vet because he loves animals and will do whatever is best for your beloved pet. If you don't have your animal's best interest in mind, you probably should not see this vet. But if you are looking for the best care you can find, then Dr. K is the right choice, even if you have to drive 200+ miles to see him. Pros: Did I mention what a wonderful vet Dr. Kendrick is? Cons: He is not living and working in Austin more

Informative 1/31/2007

When you bring your exotics in for the first time you get a husbandry talk. The staff will go over basic care and feeding with you and send you home with handouts on your unique pets. They also do puppy and kitten talks and answer any questions you have about the new addition to your family. more
