There is no better barber than Tommy G 8/27/2014

I live in Seattle now, but I started having my hair cut at Compo Barber Shop fifty-one years ago (I was seven years old). My barber in those days was Mike. Mike passed away a few years later, and I started going to Tommy G, the shop's owner I just can't put into words what a great man Tommy is. Those periodic visits to Tommy were highlights of my adolescnce and early adulthood. I still regard him as a friend even though I have not been back to Westport in ten years. I know that if I walked in to his shoo today, he would drop everything and greet me! You cannot do better than Tommy G. more

shop successfully tries to capture feel of westport from an ealier era. staff is accomplished and courteous. i've only engaged felice (barber). found him to be one of the better cutters i've used globally. more

One of the Very Best 1/24/2011

At my age I have been to a few barbershops and this one is wonderful. Tom Ghianuly has operated the shop for over 50 years and he is a great owner, barber, and Westport ambassador. You cannot go wrong with Tom and will be sorry when your 30 minutes is up. Make an appointment if you want in as he and Felice are very popular. more

Great Haircut 1/16/2010

I have been going to Compo Barber for years. Their haircutting skills are outstanding. Felice is my Barbar and was raised in a Barbar shop in Italy. My wife always thinks that I had my hair styled somewhere. Also I love the historical pictures of Westport around the shop. you cannot go wrong getting your hair cut here. Kemp Coady, Westport more

Excellent barbershop 12/12/2005

Great barbershop, personal and friendly service. Tom runs a great shop for men and kids. Longtime Westport business that treats people to a good haircut in a friendly atmosphere. DWhile there are usually 5-6 barbers on hand, definitely call ahead for an appointment, especially for the kids around holidays and school vacations. more
