I've been having trouble maintaining my hot tub. The shop I usually buy my chemicals from only wanted me to make my puchase and then leave. I couldn't get any advise on anything. I stopped by Colorado Billiards and Spas on the recomendation of a coworker and found the staff very knowlegable, friendly and helpful. I was dissapointed to find out the other shop was selling me products I didn't need, I was able to save money and get the best water quallity I've ever had since I've owned my spa! We purchased 4 barstools that had to be special ordered. The manager called us on a Friday when they came in. My husband talked to him and said we would pick it up on that Sunday and he asked what time they would be open. The manager said they would be there from 12 - 4. We borrowed a truck and drove 50 miles one way to go pick the barstools up on Sunday. When we got there, the store was not open. There was no sign on the store that said they're closed for Father's day. I called on Monday and asked why they were not open. The manager said it was Father's day and he denied telling us they would be there on Sunday. Furthermore, he said we should have called before coming in! I asked for them to deliver the barstools free of charge. He would not do it. I talked to the store owner and he was not going to do anything either. After further discussions, he said he would give us $20 gift certificate but we could not use the gift certificate towards the current purchase. It can only be used for future purchases. I argued with him and he finally agreed to give us $20 towards the current purchase and then he hung up on me! I would also recommend that you check out the complaints online before shopping there. I should have done it before making a big purchase from this store. more
