Colombo's Delicatessen

Colombo's not only has the greatest lunch meats in Pacifica, but I believe you'd be hard pressed to find anything better in North Beach itself. We are suckers for ultra thin sliced meats and boy is this ever the place to get them sliced just as ordered. Their house-baked ham is to die for along with their cured olives and spicy Jalapeno "poppers" (I think they call them something else but they're Jalapeno's stuffed with Mozzarella and are sooo addictive) they also carry a wonderful assortment of cheeses. At Colombo's you can find a very impressive wine selection at reasonable prices. The staff is so accommodating, especially Emil and his Family. They bake their own bread and you may be lucky when you stop in if they have available their Fresh Baked Focaccia Bread (delicious). Why anyone would go next door to Safeway for a sandwich or to buy lunch meat is beyond me! more

This is one of Pacifica's gems that I hope no one else finds! :) The family-run deli has been at this location for year and also has another branch out in Hillsborough (I think - it some other fancy schmancy bay area city). The deli has very reasonable prices on a plethora of cheeses and meats. They also have tons of imported foods from Italy and Greece. Their superstar claim to fame (in my opinion) are their deli sandwiches. I love their philly hoagie (no tomatoes, no onions) with a 1/2 pint of macaroni salad. Perfect to share lunch with a friend. more
