Editorial review from Citysearch 3/27/2014

These guys know their cars. Over the number of years I have been using them, I have seen a wide variety of cars in the shop getting a wide variety of work done to include complete engine rework. Their analysis is always very complete giving you their findings and recommendations and always in a down to earth, practical manner with your interests in mind. And I trust my racing car to them, more

Very Disappointed 9/12/2011

I was totally ripped off by this shop. Not only was the work not done correctly and had to be fixed by another shop (timing way off among other things), but the owners also gave me a list of additional things the car needed which were totally false - thankfully I declined to have these other items ""repaired"" as I knew some of the parts they claimed were worn out (ie hub splines) were in fact replaced the year before. They seemed nice enough, however the quality of their work spoke volumes. You will not get what you pay for....at least I did not.... Beware. more

These guys know their stuff 2/19/2011

I have a 1975 TR6 that I bought new. I will addmitt that I used it hard when I was younger. trying to out shine my brothers I suppose but I love this car.\r I have tons of horror stories over the years - girl with a sports car - but these guys, all of them, went out of their way to explain what I needed to do to bring my car back to life and they recommended upgrades to fix known issues I had always lived with. They fixed everything - they were not cheap but it is right - better than right! I now have a charging system that keeps up with my sound system and the car flies! more

Great Shop 2/19/2011

The people at Cloverleaf were fantastic. I brought my 1997 BMW 328 convertible in with a poor running issue and needing an oil change service. They checked it out and reported that I had a mouse nest in the intake and bird seed everywhere. They cleaned out the system, repaired the chewed up wiring and replaced some parts that the mice had destroyed. They documented all they did and noted the damage was done by mice. They then informed me that many home owner's policies will cover this so I called my agent and he confirmed that I was covered! They fixed my car quickly and proceeded to tell me how to have it covered and they talked to my agent and sent copies of all the bills and stuff. Fantastic more

STAY AWAY!!! 3/23/2008

Please, do NOT bring your car to these idiots. They claim to be British auto experts, but couldn't even figure out how to start my Rover. Instead of calling me, they wired a direct jump to the glow plugs and caused a fire in my dash. Now my lights are screwed up and the car still won't run. It's been sitting in my driveway for weeks now. \r \r I was complaining to a friend in my car club. He told me about a party he went to (all car guys) and said there were 5 destroyed engines in the room, all by Cloverleaf. He said they ""rebuilt"" his car from scratch for $35,000. ""If the engine had worked the car I would have been dead."" Everything was hand-tightened. \r \r They must indeed have the luck of the Irish to still be in business. Avoid like the plague. Pros: Great cars in garage Cons: I feel bad for their owners more

nightmare mechanics 3/23/2008

This business claims to be British restoration and repair specialists. After toasting my alternator, and telling me it was like that when I brought it in for a non-electrical problem, they proceeded to destroy several other electrical devices in the car. Through stupidity and desperation, I gave then second opportunity on another car. The vehicle is now completely disabled, due to extensive electrical damage they did to the vehicle, and unknown damage done to the fuel system. Pros: availability of appointments Cons: You WILL have your car destroyed by these guys. more

We have been providing automotive services for the discriminating vehicle owner since 1975

Owner Message
  • Cloverleaf was born in 1975 in a small two bay garage behind my parents house. Located in Havertown PA; I did both paint and mechanical work here. I moved on to a slightly larger 2 bay garage located in Lima, PA at the first cloverleaf built in the US (where we picked up our name) I pretty much stopped doing paint and body work then but began to do a lot of older and classic cars. I was also doing a lot of work for Roy Levis , Performance Equipment. (Further honing my performance skills) In 1979 I moved to a much larger shop in Aston PA.

    The Growing Years:

It was while I was located in Aston that we went from being a general repair shop that did Antique, Classics & High Performance vehicles as a side line to specializing in these same vehicles. While here Cloverleaf Vintage Racing was born. Specializing in Vintage race and rally car preparation we went on to compete in local and long distance vintage rallies and vintage race events. Building, preparing & maintaining vehicles for both myself and customers. We still kept our hand in setting up off road vehicles and high performance modifications to newer vehicles. Cars built and maintained by Cloverleaf were winning on the show fields and on the competition circuits

    Where we're going:

In 2005 we moved to our present location in Malvern, PA. Though a bit off the beaten path we are not hard to find and now can offer our customers pickup from the local train station and even the high speed line servicing the entire Northeast region

Our goals are today are the same as they have always been, to offer you, the motoring public the finest facility in Southeast PA to have your vehicle repaired, maintained, restored or improved, whether it is a classic 1967 Jaguar E type, 1929 Model A Ford, 1966 International Pick Up or your 2013 BMW 3 series.

Our staff and our facilities are here to make sure all of your motoring needs are met from the show field to the race track to ensuring your family's safety in your daily driving. General Repairs,Service & Maintenance
