Bottom line: They got the job done that no one else could! I would highly recommend Baird and Rudolph. The folks there are great people. The job got done right away. And the price was very competitive!
What happened?
I did a search and called all the Superstore tire shops looking for a set of popular Michelin high performance tires. All of these shops told me they would need three to seven days to get the tires in, (including a Michelin dealer). I travel constantly and had limited time, so their schedule would not work. So I figured I'd try a local shop. Colleen took the info on my car, called me back in 30 minutes and said the tires would be in the next day.
As promised, when they arrived she called me. I drove over and they took me right on. 45 minutes later the job was done. And the price was just about the same as the superstores.
If you want tires done quick, and done right you have to give these folks a call.

Pokes is the only performance shop near my house, apparently they are under new management... never went there before.... the owner is extremely nice and helpful, i went in looking for the right air intake for my late model honda civic and he recommended certain parts, which turned out to be great!! the prices are INSANELY low..... and there are NO SHIPPING CHARGES for parts which usually come the next day!! my only complaint was that i was never called when the part came in.... i just happened to be near the shop one day, so i thought i'd stop in to see if it came.... the store isnt much to look at, but the new owner seems to have just started up... and he said they're moving.... hopefully to a bigger place..... would definitely recommend Pokes over Pepboys in a HEARTBEAT though!!!
Pros: prices, can order any part, quick installation, friendliness
Cons: shop is small, store hours are limited

I have taken my cars there for many years. The work is done hands-on by the owner of the company. They do very good work and their prices are fantastic. The owner Nick is a very honest business man. I would definitely recommend this place for all of your auto needs. He also does auto repairs besides auto body work. Call him for a free estimate and try him out.
