Filed a Claim with Claimstar in September. After being told week after week that there was no news , I took it upon myself to contact my insurance company. They cashed my check in October ! Filed a claim with Better business bureau and was promised immediate payment by Claimstar...I am still waiting as we are now past the decemebr due date. Do not use this company under any circumstance. \r \r Follow Up : So I finally recieved my money in February from Claimstar. Seems there were some serious general management issues and those that were in place were fired. Once the new GM came in (Barry) , communication was restored on a daily basis and recieved my money in a few weeks. If you still have issues with this company , contact Barry he will help you get your money. more

Run away, before they take your money then hide from you. Charged me a whopping 25 % for their services yet I had to do everything. They never return calls or emails and will hold your money till you threaten a lawsuit. Marshall and company should be arrested for perpetuating a fraud. Still waiting on balance of my money. more

I see in the last few months this company cashed multiple checks from insurance companies but did not pay their clients ? Thats criminal , how do they get away with this ? Wont be using and will be telling others to stay away, thank you citysearch. more

I filed a claim with ClaimStar in August 2012, and it took until mid October for the claim to be worked out with the insurance company. Took till mid November to receive the first disbursement check and that was after contacting them continously day after day. The 2nd check was issued to them in Oct and cleared the insurance company's bank in early Nov. I still do not have that check to pay my contractor for the work that was done. How long does it take to even get a call back from them.....DO NOT USE!!!! THEY CASH THE CHECKS AND DON'T ISSUE THE MONEY THAT'S DUE more

BEWARE! Claimstar filed a claim on my behalf and cashed the check two months ago! I see I'm not the only one! No alternative but to take legal action...STAY AWAY! more

Waiting to hear from Marshall Pearlman today. My Insurance co. told me they paid Claimstar Inc. Aug 15th, waiting for the the balance of my money(not the hold back). Will let you know the outcome,My husband and I will take a ride up if we don't get a return phone call( for the 1,000 x time). more

do not use this company EVER. we hired them in May after a fire. our adjuster was an idiot and didnt seem to know what he was doing, or he just didnt care. it was hard to tell. anytime we called with questions, he couldnt answer them. and now, its 5 months later, and the company that they hired to clean all of our belongings is calling us threatening to sue because they never got the money from claimstar (and i have the records from statefarm to prove they sent the check to claimstar to pay for the service in august and they did cash it). meanwhile, we've called 3 times since last week to get it resolved but everytime we call them, they just say they will call us back, but they never do. what a joke. more

The worst possible choice after a disaster is to call these people. They will cheat, lie and steal; whatever they can do to take advantage of your misfortunes.. Ed and Marshall are crooks expert at exploiting you at a vulnerable time. CAUTION!! CAUTION!!! more

I found water damage in my kitchen ceiling from the bathroom above. I called ClaimStar because I didn't know what you do. Their representative came out immediately and discovered that my toilet was leaking causing damage to my bathroom floor too. ClaimStar met with the insurance company adjuster and worked out a great settlement in their first meeting. I think everyone needs a doctor, dentist, lawyer, and an adjuster, and I will recommend ClaimStar to my friends and family. more

After being sold on their inclusive process of securing a settlement, I signed up with Claimstar . Six months later and several calls later on my part just to find out what was going on I realized that I signed up with an unprofessional disinterested company that may have jeopardized any claim I may have had with my insurance co. If Claimstars secures a settlement for you you probably didn't need them to begin with. This is my opinion based on my experience with Claimstar. more

A friend of mine, who's a business owner, used this company when his business went up in flames and Claimstar came to the rescue! They were able to get him some up front quickly and finally get him the money he needed to get his business up and running again. I would highly recommend this company to anybody. more
