Prairie Bridges Park and Campground 8/1/2005

This campground is one of our favorites. They take reservations and it is a great place to take your kids and grandkids. They have a very nice playground and walking trails as well as fishing and a small beach. There are very clean showers and toilets and the volunteers that run it are outstanding. It is just off of new Highway 20 and is pretty easy to find if you are not from the area. They also take reservations if this is something that you would like to do. more

Acklely City Park Camping 7/20/2005

If you love camping, you need to check out this city park campground. The rates are great and they have a great playground, a great host, hot showers, fishing, beach and wood for campfires. There is a shelter you can reserve and they also offer reserved spots if you need them. This is our favorite place to camp. The town also offers a swimming pool and some stores. Hope to see you there! more
