I am researching cameras because I am getting heavier into photography. I wanted to buy from an actual camera shop instead of Best Buy. I am probably going to spend around $1500. I have been doing research online and had some questions for them, because I am not very experienced with camera equipment. I have been to Christian Photo a few times lately to ask them questions. I have been in retail and other types of sales most of my adult life and would never think about treating my customers the way that they have treated me. I felt like I was bothering them. The people that have helped me would constantly look away from me, like they had better things to do. You feel like they don't want to talk to you unless you know what you want and are spending a certain amount of money. They have made many snide remarks. When they recommend something, they don't explain why they are recommending it. They want you to buy what they recommend and not ask many questions. One day that I went in, the manager actually said to me "I thought that we already took care of you the other day" , as if he did not want to see me again. I am not going to go into everything that has been said, but I actually had to say to them the other day that I am not trying to argue, I am just asking questions. I have been there 3 times lately and felt that they were rude each time. After the last time I was in there I decided to check out reviews of their business online, just to find many other people complaining about the same things that I have experienced. I will NOT be buying a camera from them. more

We lost our baby back in July and Christian Photo was reliable and prompt in priniting off some gigantic pictures of him for his funeral later that week. They were friendly and helpful, we appreciate all that they did! more

I don't live in DSM but know of Christian Photo. I called them this am to ask them some questions. I talked with Grant and he was very friendly and helpful over the phone. I asked him some ??'s and he got back to me with the right answers. more

Seriously, are the people writing these reviews employed at Christian Photo, have family or friends that work there? Maybe your a professional photographer? I mean Christian Photo has great merchandise and the staff seems to really know their stuff, but they are not kind and respectful to people except for professional photographers. Atleast the ones I have heard comments from. Go there if you care nothing about great service - you know, if you like to be treated with kindess and respect. If you don't care about that stuff, then you will have no problem with Christian Photo. They are full of rude people that don't mind treating you poorly. more

Christian Photo is a local and family run business. They specialize in capturing each individual personality in their photo's. They are proffesional and offer on site phography in their studio or off site. The sample photo's that I have seen offer a wide variety of poses at an affordable price. They do an outstanding job on Senior portraits. Christian photo also buy and sell cameras. They offer digital processing and have all your dark room supplies. more

I have always been impressed with Christian Photo- they have excellent photo developing and printing, whether you want film developed traditionally or digital prints printed off. They do great work with enlargements as well. They also carry cameras, supplies, photo frames, just about everything you need. The staff is always extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I've never purchased a camera there, but the prices for photo finishing are very reasonable and you are getting a superior product. Definitely the first place I take my pictures to! more
