Best

My family and I royally enjoyed ourselves at the park and also at Hotel Breakers. We loved the feeling of the place with all the old pics on the walls. Our experience in August...

Worst

For about 20 years I make an annual trip and this was the worst one ever. I was there in the middle of the week, and it is the 2nd year in a row that they don't have Top Thrill D...

Its the bests!! 7/31/2005

I have gone almost twice a year since i was 3 years old and i just turned 22 last week. There is stuff for the whole family. Pros: Parking is never bad, every one is friendly more

Best Park in the US and or World. 7/31/2005

I have been to every other park in the top 10, and none of them come close to the thrills at Cedar Point. There are rides and attractions here for people of all ages. Pros: Great Rides, Parking, Location Cons: lines more

Best Amusement Park Ever! 7/31/2005

I'm from Cleveland, so I've gone to CP every summer since I can remember. This really is the best amusement park ever! I tried Busch Gardens and Six Flags aka Geauga Lake, but neither compares to the amazing coasters, rides, and attractions at CP. My friends and I try to ride every coaster, which is hard to do in 1 day! I've read about long lines, but I guess I'm just used to them. CP offers Freeway, early in the day get a stamp with a time, come back then and jump ahead in line. The best days to go are when kids are in school, and days forecast for light rain, if it drizzles you can enjoy the shows and even their indoor roller coaster. Another tip, season passes pay for themselves after 2 visits and you get coupons for food, parking, and tickets for friends. Pros: Best Coasters, Good Food, Great Atmosphere Cons: Lots of Walking, Most Lines not Shaded, A Little Expensive more

Awesome 7/15/2005

Cedar Point is the absolute best amusement park in the world. The best rides and most fun, clean and family oriented park I have ever been to. Has plenty of rides for everyone. From small not so heart pumping to the adreneline jukies dream. Definetly recommend to anyone in search of a great time. Pros: clean, reasonably priced, lots of activities Cons: long lines, but worth the wait more

One of the BEST - Cedar Point 7/13/2005

The rides, particularly the coasters are the best I've been to in the US. The park is always clean and very family oriented if you want it to be. Only problem I have is waiting 1, 2, or 3 hours for a ride in some cases. That can take the fun out of your day after awhile. Pros: Great Coasters, Good food, Great Water Park Cons: long lines for rides more

Worlds of Fun at Cedar Point 7/13/2005

I have been to many theme parks in the United States and Cedar Point by far is the best overall. I grew up in Omaha and went to Worlds of Fun in Kansas City several times. But go to Cedar Point and YOU WILL HAVE WORLDS OF FUN - I have also been to Disneyland and Disney World, yeah they have all of there high tech shows and rides, but if you want a thrill ride then you definately need to go to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. Pros: RIDES, RIDES, RIDES more

Great time for all 7/13/2005

I am getting ready for a trip to Ohio, including Cedar Point. It is so amazing and I can't wait to go. All of the roller coasters are so much fun and at times, when climbing the hills and dropping 400 feet, that I question myself and wonder what in the world I am doing. My 10 year old loves it as much as I do. Thank goodness she is a roller coaster freak like her mom, otherwise she might be staying at home with the grandparents. My only complaint is that the staff is not very friendly. I even asked someone last year if it was a bad place to work, because everyone seemed irritated to be there! You can't beat the view from atop a lot of the rides and the breeze off of the lake, make even summer times evenings rather cool. Pros: great roller coasters, great view, good shows Cons: unfriendly staff more

For Summer Fun Ya Gotta Go 7/13/2005

When I think of Summer, I think of Cedar Point! I haven't been since 2000, but I am definitely going this year! There is nothing more thrilling than the coasters and feeling your heart drop straight to your toes! The lines leave little to be desired, but it is well worth the wait. The newest ride I was on was the Millenium Force, so I am definitely looking forward to the Dragster! Best place EVER!!!! Pros: Coasters, Atmosphere, Food more

A ""Can't Miss""!! 7/12/2005

Cedar Point is the kind of place you'll want to visit time and time again. They are always adding something new, and usually it is the first of its kind, yet it retains the original charm and beauty throughout. Halloweekends are a blast, and the crowds usually smaller that time of year. My brother and I travel all the way from Central Florida annually to enjoy the sights, rides, excellent cheese dogs and boardwalk fries, and cold beer. The staff is fun and friendly and truly seem to love their jobs, and the grounds are maintained beautifully. The Halloweekends decorations are a treat - especially the ""graveyard"" of rides from days gone by. My favorite? Millennium Force. A must at night time. Visit here at least once in your lifetime, and I bet it'll be a place you'll visit again and again. Check their website out for specials. Pros: 16 coasters!, Food, Beauty more

Awesome Park! 7/12/2005

I just went to Cedar Point a week ago, and it was by far the best amusement park I've been to! The best rides there are Millenium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, and Magnum. I had a great time, the atmosphere was nice, and the park was clean. The only bad things I would say about it are that the lines can be very long (I waited 1 1/2 - 2 hours on both Millenium and Dragster) and getting into the park is horrible - it took longer to get off the turnpike into the park than it took to drive from Akron to the exit off the turnpike. They need to invest in more than 2 lanes! Anyway, if you're looking for a fun and thrilling park to go to, Cedar Point is the way you should go. Pros: great rides, clean park, rides for all ages Cons: entering the park, prices are high more

WHOA!! 7/12/2005

As a coaster fanatic, this one is top notch. From the minute it opened, I was floored by the rides. Has a wide variety of rides for everyone - from a 6 year old to a 38 year old. Only downfall was waiting in lines over an hour long, but every minute of waiting was worth it for the experience - Millenium Force i& the Raptor are both UNBELIEVABLE!! Plus they do a Parent Swap for the big rides, so both Mom and Dad can experience the ride. more

The Best! 7/12/2005

We have traveled from Minnesota to Cedar Point each of the past four years. We incorporate some MLB games into the roadtrips but the highlight is Cedar Point. From the staff to the quality of the rides it is a first rate experience. In addition, the setting is awesome. At 54 with a load of kids it is my favorite vacation escape!! Pros: Rides, Staff, Setting more

Absolutely Amazing 7/12/2005

Cedar Park is worth the trip and the price you pay to get into this amusement park. I went last year w/some friends and when I say it gives you a rush, it really does. We rode all 16 roller coasters and I can wait til next summer. Its best to get on the newest, fastest and highest rides early so you wont have to wait long. Its good to eat at a buffet for dinner because you get your monies worth. My favorite Roller Coaster is The Rapter, it gets me everytime. I love the employee's because they make it even more interesting if you ask for a little excitement especially if your young. Ex. Screaming, Giving you a flip before ride stars, playing music-dj. Most people complain about the long lines, well what do you expect? Its the best Amusement Park in the USA. Pros: Food, Rides, Service more

I had to see it to believe it! I AM IN AWE! 7/12/2005

I have seen it on TV, being from Gainesville, Florida. I said nothing could beat Bushe Gardens Tampa or the Shows in Olando's theme parks, but I must admit it Cedar Point 1 uped all the parks in my state. One of the best Racing coasters Gemini, you even get to taunt the other train while on the track. Milliem FORCE... Man, That is fast! Please go to Cedar Point. It is worth a 15 hour drive!!!! Pros: Best Coasters, Water Attractions, Quick entry and Exit Cons: Sat/Sun, need more water rides more

It IS America's RollerCoast!! 7/12/2005

I have been going to Six Flags Great America in Illinois since I was a kid every year (2 or more times), but since I discovered CP 4 yrs ago, I adore this park!! It's so nostalgic!! I love how great it's kept up! It's the cleaniest, friendliest, most uncrowded park I have ever been to! I don't mind driving 6+ hrs to get there at all! The pizza is great for park food! There's no comparison to any of the many parks I've been to, and I would recommend CP to all! I will be moving to California in 3 mths & I WILL travel across the country for this park, I LUV IT!! The only thing I don't like is that they let people in line get away with smoking, and I don't like that!! They need more vegetarian choices, & we leave the park to eat..unfortunely! Pros: great rollercoasters!, nice lake setting, nosalgic & shaded Cons: lines can be long, hotels can be cheaper, no vegetarian food more

You'll want to return at least once a year! 7/12/2005

Cedar Point is great at not only maintaining their excellent rides to keep them above status quo, but they continually create new masterpieces of adrenaline and good, old-fashioned fun attractions and rides! I have always made it top priorty to visit the park at least once a year since I was 5 years old. They definitely keep me coming back for more, and you will love it if you like great rides and lots of variety! Pros: Excellent rides, Wonderful Variety Cons: can be a long drive more

User review by feathers2006 7/12/2005

The lines maybe a little long for the popular rides like the newer rollercoaster but you'll have that in every park you go to. They have fast passes which help make the lines less of a wait. The park is very clean and has a great place for younger ones who can't ride the rollercoasters yet. They have other rides besides the rollercoasters for those who don't ride them. They have hotels in the area, if they aren't right next to Cedar Point, there are plenty that are 10 mins away if that. Also if you don't want to spend all the money on paying for food in the park they have a nice picinic area that you can keep a cooler in. I would suggest to everyone to make a trip to Cedar Point at least once and I know they will want to come back again. more

Nothing compares! 7/12/2005

I've been going to Cedar point for almost 20 years now and each year it gets better. There's so much to do, I recommend getting there early to beat the lines. The entertainment is simply the best. Given the choice, I'd rather go to Cedar Point than Disneyland! Pros: Rides, Entertainment, Food Cons: Long lines more

The greatest amusement park ever! 7/12/2005

This park is not a place you can see in one day. There is so much to do here. The rides are amazing, and they just keep adding more! For someone who loves roller coasters this is the best place to go! Pros: Rides Cons: Crowded more

Great Place! 6/20/2005

You'll have tons of fun! Cedar Point is a great place to chill out and have lots of fun! Just a great place to go to get away and enjoy yourself. Pros: Great Rides, Great facilities, Great food and fun Cons: Little expensive more
