I visit Cedar Point atleast once a year and have ever since I was 6. THis amusement park has not only the best rides available in the United States, but also many other features. There is a virtual-reality movie theator, pleanty of family rides and a water park right next door. I don't know what more one could ask for. This is by far the best amusement park out there. I was very satisfied with my two days at Cedar Point. There were rides for me (15 years old), my dad's old favorites, and rides for my sister (7years old). I'd advise if you go to bring just a few snacks to munch on. Hot dogs were $4.95 when I was there, fries were $2.50 for a small amount. The park was very clean. Everywhere you go, there are trash cans. The people working the amusement park are very good about picking up any trash on the ground. There were constantly people sweeping in the parking lots. Cedar point is a great time as long as you come ready for prices. Pros: Best Rides, Good Shows, Clean Cons: Expensive Food, Long Lines more

Young again!! 8/2/2002

Having grown up on Cedar Point I suppose I have a bit of a biased view. But now, after 10 years of being absent, bringing my 4 yr old son and mother, our whole family can have the fun I used to have. The new rides are awesome, the old ones are still the best, I will always love the Gemini. We just returned after 2 days, and never waited longer than 1/2 hour for anything - including Raptor which we rode 5 times! You need to stay on property, it is worth the early admission!!!! This is a must!!!! Pros: Great kid rides, Breakers Express, Coasters!!!! Cons: Break Exp. Breakfast more

i just got back from cedar point today, and it is, hands down, the best park in the country. i have been to several of the other parks on the countdown and there is no comparison. four words: twister, millenium, magnum, mantis! rawk! Pros: best coasters, best rides, cheap food Cons: a little pricey, long waits in sun, too much to do! more

Personally, I think that Cedar Point is very over-rated. They put new rides up every year. Which makes it very crowded in the summer. People dont like to wait 3 hours to ride something for 10 minutes. Now 6 flages i think is much better but they both need to put some more time into there projects. Pros: ok parking, ok rides Cons: wait for rides, bathrooms, expensive more

Fun For the whole Famn Damily 7/26/2002

Cedar Point is one of, if, not the best amusment park for your money. Having more than 60 rides is amazing, and trust me, all the rides are fun. They also have Camp Snoopy for the family. The whole family can enjoy this park. Also do not forget to take your bathing suit. According to how the park in on a pensiula, there are beaches, and they also have a water park. Cedar Point is by far the best place to go in or around Cleveland. So many rides, so many award-winning shows, you could spend days there. Try and find a coupon, they are around, or buy a ticket at Tops ($10 off). Pros: quick-moving lines, GREAT food, shows Cons: $44 admission more

Cedar Point is by far the greatest amusement park I have ever been to, and I have visited quite a few. The Millenium Force, or MFer as my friends and I call it, is the greatest thrill on the planet. It is the biggest rush you can imagine. Cedar Point is loaded with thrills and spills. It has something for everyone. It is definately worth the trip to America's Rockin' Roller Coast. I live on the edge of the rocky mtns. and we ""try"" to have a good park, but when ever my family goes on vacation, Cedar Point is an ultimate must on our spots to stop, and we never miss it. Situated at the tip of Sandusky, Cedar Point has it all! There is so much to do and so many things to see you have to come back more than once. All the roller coasters have something to offer for the young and old. The diners are terrific and have great food. Plus with the many affordable and nearby hotels you can come back and enjoy the park as often as you like. Cedar Point is a must-see!!! I was fortunate enough to grow up in Cleveland, and visited the park once or twice a year. Since I moved away I have been to several other parks (Kings Island, Magic Kingdom, Worlds of Fun, several Six Flags), and nothing compares. If you are an adrenaline junkie, there is no place better to get your fix than Cedar Point. KEEP IN MIND - this is not a one-day kind of park. You will leave disappointed after only one day, because you won't have enough time to ride everything. Two-day passes are reasonable, and definitely worth the money. more
