I have to give them all my thumbs because I love their food. I can't think of anything bad to say about this restaurant. If I said something bad about it, I'd be lying. more

I had the pleasure of dinning at The Cav last weekend. I enjoyed my Pasta Primavera to go along with some Naked Grape Cabernet Sauvignon. Really relaxing time. more

Don't usually write about restaurants but our experience was so awful I have to mention it. Not going to go into great detail but I was hoping to have a nice dinner with my husband. We just moved to the area and were trying to find someplace to make our fav place. Well this place wont be it. Our server was so stupid and unprofessional. I guess that's what you get when you hire kids. Both our appetizers were horrible, how do you screw up deep-fried food? But the apps matched our steaks. Not that difficult to grill a steak. So when you combine poor skill with tough meat you get a lousy meal. The sides are a joke. In fact as I write this review I get mad all over again at having wasted my evening and money on this place. Never again. more

I have tried this place 3 times since the new owner or manager took over (I do not know which). I thought maybe they were just going through startup pains the fist time. So I gave them a second chance, sadly the same problems existed again. The last time I went there it was actually my last choice because every where else was booked for valentines weekend, but this place had plenty of room. The food is just barley presentable with below average taste and is way over priced! Especialy since they do not know how to properly cook it. I have had two half raw lobster tails and two stakes that were either over done or under done. They say they used aged beef, but I do not think so. It taste like it is straight from the local supermarket. They used to have a signature desert drink, a brandy alexander. Sadly, they can?t make that right either. The first one was made out of ice cream that was freezer burned. The second one was not made with ice cream they used cream and ice (yuck), and the third was finally made with good ice cream, unfortunately you could have fit it in two shot glasses. This place is a complete disappointment and a huge waist of money - you will have buyers remorse for sure. I wish I could say something good, sadly I can?t. more

We were so looking forward to coming back to this place after having visited it 5-6 years ago. What a disappointment. Apparently, the restaurant had been taken over by a new outfit and we were not at all happy with the change. Actually, i think the Sizzler would have been a better choice. Prices had sky rocketed and have turned into a rip-off, the steaks were overdone. So we spent almost $100 for two bison rib-eyes, a salad and two tiny glasses of wine. Would definitely NOT recommend it. There were three other tables occupied in the room where we were and, apparently, we were not the only ones left disappointed. Two more patrons were complaining as well. I felt very sorry for the waitress who has to face this every day. Pros: none that I can think of Cons: High prices for mediocre food more

I went to the Cavalryman tonight for dinner. They had raised the prices about 50% and deleted many of their previous complimentary offerings included in the inflated price of the meal. When I protested, the waitress was surly and contentious as was the female manager. Needless to say, that will be my last visit there. By way of example, the waitress' standard term of address is ""You guys."" Pros: Plenty of parking. Cons: , Surly staff, Seafood overcooked more
