I dined in with a large party and we were disgusted by the food and service! They said everything tasted like it was cooked in the same nasty old fish oil, the bathrooms were appalling! I ordered a grilled catfish dish that was supposed to be ""ideal for weight watchers"" but was soaked in nasty old butter, it was disgusting! The owner was a rude sour old woman that was talking loudly about me at the front counter about how I didnt like the dish and sent it back. We will never go there again! This place needs to be shut down, its disgusting! more

Best Fried Catfish in Mesquite 8/22/2008

This place is a dimly lit family resturant. Not at all fancy, very casual. They have a great Relish bar with all the fixin's! They serve fried catfish, oysters, chicken strips, shrimp, and more..Best hushpuppies around! I would refrain from the shrimp cocktail becase the shrimp are tiny for the price and not very many of them. Other than that you cant beat this little hole in the wall. Great specials and great food. Pros: great catfish and hushpuppies and great prices Cons: shrimp cocktail is a ripoff, small shrimp, very few and too expensive for what you get more
