I have been part of this church for over nine years and counting... 3/17/2014

This church really spends their money on community outreaches and missions. They feed people in the surrounding community through a ministry called Helping Hands. CCWC also helps people in the local communities by painting and cleaning up yards, etc. This church works closely with ministries in other countries to feed people and improve their communities. This church has Back to School out reaches for the community that provide back packs full of supplies to hundreds of kids and feeds the kids breakfast as well. They have a number of family outreaches each year with free games and other awesome things for kids. They give out prizes during these events to kids. The leaders who are in charge of the kids ministries really care for those kids and go the extra mile for them. The leaders and volunteers put in countless hours to minister to people through outreaches and classes and really show Gods' love. Gods' love is so evident here. Two times a year they have wonderful productions that are put on by volunteers that put in countless hours in practice time just to reach out with the love of Christ to the community. I could go on and on about this place. The pastor is truly dedicated to Gods' word and has ministered and pastored for over 25 years now. He has a such a heart for people. He is on a mission to spread Gods love through out the community and the world. It's all about reaching out with Gods love and getting the Word out. Is this place perfect? There is no such thing because no one can be perfect except Jesus Christ alone. I continuously thank God for bringing us to this place. more

Where the Outcast are Welcome 8/31/2010

"He was despised and rejected of men..He came unto His own,and His own received him not..." I noticed that one of the Pastor's best friends was a little 3' Midget who couldn't even talk. I have set in the back ,as an old Guy, and watched hundreds of despised and rejected lost sinners ,young ,old and in between, come forward to find Jesus- and begin a new life. Is anything more important ? more

Fantastic Worship, Spirit Filled 6/30/2009

I'm so glad my husband and I found this church. Prior to attending, we were about to start divorce proceedings. Everything now, has changed. My husband accepted Jesus and is a completely different person. I am continuing to grow and mature as a Christ follower. The Services are entirely Bible Based and the Pastor has a Spirit Filled grasp of the Word, and a fabulous ability to teach from the Text. If you're at all looking for a church home, I encourage you to give Calvary Chapel Worship Center a visit....You won't need to look any further. more

CCWC 6/9/2009

This church is great, the pastor is not afraid of preaching the truth as it is. The church is making a difference in the community through all it's different ministries. We all have our own personal taste when it comes to worshiping God. The worship in this church is loud and happy, Jesus centered all the same. If you prefer traditional services you may not like it. But go check it out any way. Allow God to touch you in a new way. more

there is room for doubt 5/5/2009

I am concerned about the fact that the pastors in charge have free reign to spend money the way they want. I have been told( by a pastor)that money earmarked for a particular ministry, say to go to missions, doesn't mean it will. While many people come there to see and hear, many also feel used by this ministry. I don't know, maybe its ok to do this. more

A lot like the minister in the movie "And There Will Be Blood" 1/26/2009

Yes, the service is entertaining, the music LOUD but foot-stomping good, but if you have a discerning spirit you've got to know what it's all about. The minister puts on a good show, gets the emotions stirred which translates into a larger offering. The name of the game is MONEY. more

Don't go there! 9/13/2008

Charletons are born everyday and this church certainly has a good one! It doesn't take too many visits to figure out what this pastor is about. Can we all say money? Yes they have talented musicians, gifted singers and the entertainment aspect is unsurpassed for churches in the vacinity. But do some research. This church is totally independent. No accountability. Ask to see the financial records. Drive by the pastor's vast mansion and figure it out. more

Showing the love of God to the community! 8/13/2007

The church is meeting folks where they are...addressing the needs of families (married, single, widowed, etc) There are programs for all ages. Tuesday - small groups at 7pm, Thursday - service at 7pm (you can eat dinner at church from 4:30-6:30 pm) and Sunday mornings 3 services: 8:10, 9:45 and 11:15 am. All the music is contemporary and lasts for about 30 to 40 minutes. The preaching is AWESOME! Very relevant...you can definitely apply the message to your life and leave encouraged. If you like to get plugged in and serve there are plenty of opportunities to do so. Every volunteer is background checked for the safety of the children. Lots of community outreach events. Every year the church brings wonderful Broadway-like productions that are free to the community as well. (4th of July, Christmas and Easter productions) Make sure you stay in your seats during the productions or you might become part of a scene. If you are used to a more traditional church service than CCWC will be a completely new experience. One you'll be glad you tried! more

An experience like no other. 9/20/2006

I have been to CCWC a few times when I was younger and now I go every service. I enjoy every part of the services. By looking around, you can just see the outpouring love and faith in everyone. It is so uplifting and just a remarkable experience. I find the preaching something that is amazing, I love to watch and listen to what he has to say. The pastor makes his sermons so understandable that I leave with no question as to the way of God. I encourage anyone and everyone to at least try it. I understand that many people are more comfortable in a smaller setting, as I thought the same way. I'm now connected with this church and I couldn't imagine it any other way! more

Calvary Chapel church 6/24/2006

We have a church near us that is trying something new. They have 3 services on a Sunday and each service has over 1500 people attend. They have loud music and there must be over 200 singers on the stage and over a dozen musicians.. The preacher has a laid back way of. The congregation really get involved. They are screaming and clapping their hands, If you like loud music and like to sing, this is the church for you.. more

Take your earplugs the first time. 10/29/2005

This is like no other church. The band and choir fill the entire stage. Probably around a 100 people. The first 30 minutes is loud music and singing. After we had been twice we found we enjoyed this. The Paster then talks for 45 minutes or so. I said talks, but often shouts, jumps up and down, and asks the audience to join in. I said audience because you don't feel like a parishioner. I am hooked on the music but sometimes can't take the shouting of the preacher. more
