Horrible service, another stylist harrased my wife for over 30 mins while her stylist and everyone else did nothing. Owner called a couple days later to talk with my wife and hasn't called to say sorry or anything, stay away from here. more

North East Service and Class 6/17/2011

This salon is the best kept secret in Jacksonville, Jenna may be young but her talent is beyond her years, I know as a colorist, her high-lite rocks like NY stylist, with out the price, more then affordable! Lauren rocks a facial like know one I know in the South! Coming from NJ and looking everywhere for 7 months, I would recommend anyone there as well the owner runs a professional business, CLASSY!, although Jenna is the blow-dry and High-Lite Queen! more

Mom, I Look Awesome 1/6/2011

""Mom, I look awesome"", my daughter, 13 years old Michelle did a great cut & color on my 13 year old and literally five steps out of the salon, this was her review. My review is that the girls at California Trends are awesome. This was my daughters first experience at a salon and we were their late. No one tried to push us out the door, she was given attention to make her feel special. As her mom I appreciated the fact that she was treated like a grown up and given what she asked for....rock star hair that would have them talking at school. Thank you Michelle and all the other staff at California Trends. We will be back! more

Best Facial Ever 3/16/2010

I have had many facials in the past few years, and nothing has compared to the facial that I received at California Trends. It was truly the best facial that I have ever received in my life. I will be recommending California Trends to all of my family and friends. Pros: Great customer service more

Good location, beautiful people, and wonderful service 2/7/2010

Don't hate me because my hair is beautiful 12/19/2007

I have just moved to Jacksonville Beach and was out walking my dog the other day. I happened upon California Trends. I thought this is great my locks were in real need of a cut and color. I made an appt. My hair now looks the best. I have never had such an awesome style. Apparently they have just moved to this new location and it was fab. Not sure what the other location looked like but where they are located now is really appealing to the eye. I was so pleased with my hair cut and color that I went ahead and booked a facial and massage for this upcoming week. I highly recommend this place!!!!! I have had a great experience at this salon. The place has a very good energy and the staff is extremely friendly. My hair looked and felt fabulous when I left. Trendy new look 12/5/2007

Best cut and color I've ever had. There is always someone who compliments my hair so I continue to drive 4-1/2 hours to get my hair done. The last time I was there I had a facial and felt so relaxed yet rejuvenated - it was WONDERFUL! Staff very helpful and friendly. Owner extremely knowledgeable and skilled. Would and have recommended California Trends to all my friends. Salon is very updated and trendy in the new location. The place you want to go! 12/3/2007

I love this place! My husband & I drive all the way from Georgia just to get our hair done there. We always get compliments on our hair now, AND the new location is fabulous. You should give it a try! Pros: Stylists that know what they are doing, great products Cons: a little hard to find if your not familiar with the area -- but worth looking for more

Best Pedicure in town 9/3/2006

I love this place, they make you feel like family, very clean very friendly ,and very knowledgeable,Owner is very nice stylists are GREAT,Pedicure chairs was cleaned with bleach and soap for 10 mins before she sat me down, then cleaned again when i was leaving,LOVED THAT!! I would and do recommend this place to al my friends more

Had to Walk Out 6/14/2006

After waiting for 45 min. I had to walk out. I needed my hair done before I left town the next day. I made an appointment two days ahead. I went in for the appointment, which was on a Saturday morning at 10:00 (how far behind could they be). The receptionist was chatting on the phone for awhile before she got to me. She told me my stylist would be with me, that I could have a seat around the corner (a tiny place with no visibility to anyone). No one came to get me or even acknowledge that I was waiting for so long. After 45 minutes, I told the receptionist that I was leaving and she replied, ""she's blow-drying."" Pay by check! 7/6/2005

The operator who did my hair was totally incompetent and the management refused to return my money. One of the other operators talked loudly for two solid hours about her cat, including imitations of the cat. An agonizing 2 1/2 hours spent with horrible results.
