Red Hot and Boom brings over 150,000 people to the event. Imagine how many of those people wish to sneak into Gina's for a quick trip to the bathroom. As posted at all entrances that day, Gina's restrooms are for guests only. Public restrooms and portable bathrooms were located immediately next to Gina's. Our customers had nothing but praise for our Red Hot and Boom VIP seating. more

Bathroom Tyrant 7/9/2008

I used to dine at this restaurant frequently but moved to Sanford a few years ago and don?t get in as often. I have always had really good service. The other day I attended Red, Hot and Boom and had to use the restroom really bad as I am six months pregnant with twins. The place was so crowded, and scary with my protruding belly, that the first bathrooms I saw were inside Gina's Lakeside Grill so I slipped in to use the facilities before going in my pants. As I stood in line with other people who were not dining at the restaurant at that moment, two men were talking about closing the line just a few people after me. Then all of the sudden a women came through the line throwing people out who were not customers. I told the woman I would purchase something as I needed to use the bathroom urgently. She proceeded to tell me that people were paying $60 a plate to eat there and I needed to leave. I told her I might not make it out the door and she told me that there was a cup and pointed to one. I have never been so humiliated. I know that the bathrooms were supposed to be only for customers, but his woman did not have to be so degrading. I am extremely upset about the incident and do not know if my husband and I, or anyone else in our family will return to the restaurant. more

great night out 8/19/2005

1st time back to Ginas since they remodled but it certainly wont be the last. Had lunch on the patio with a business partner. Great buffet. Server mentioned the music that evening so I took the wife out for what was an enjoyable evening of Great food, service and dancing. Suprisingly inexpensive for serving up large portions, stiff drinks and having live music. It's my new hot spot. Pros: Great Food, Friendly staff, Value Cons: Getting there more

Surprisingly mediocre 5/10/2003

I was pointed to this restaurant by a tour book top 10 list (don't ask) and was amazed at how mediocre it was. At least they had a decent wine list, but the fish was uninspired. The sides bordered on pathetic, and were not different for each main dish (i.e. were not made to complement different tastes). For that price I would expect better, so for me the value just wasn't there. Pros: Pretty location, Large, Live music at times Cons: Uninspired, Not good value, Should be better more

A nite out 8/21/2002

Just a night out. My wife and I went to Gina's for dinner. Having 2 entrances is a bit confusing but the staff help us to find the hostess. I must say having good music downstrs. is a great addition to a great restaurant. It's been a while since we've come to Gina's as the last visit wasn't pleasant, Anyway, we went upstrs. and had a great time. The only suggestion I would make would be to add another partition or booths to the back area, it's so open. Pros: great view, great atmosphere, friendly people Cons: 2 entrances no main, up backrm. to open, no incentives downstr more

Most excellent! 8/15/2002

The band was playing when I got there, and they were dead-on, playing Neil Young, Fleetwood Mac, and even some new stuff. The bar was staffed with friendly tenders who made good mixed drinks. My friend arrived, and we languished at the bar for a while, finally going upstairs for two of their house special filet mignons (with gorgonzola cheese, I think). They melted in our mouths. Went back downstairs and danced our butts off. Walked across the street to talk for a while, overlooking the lake. Overall, one of the best nights of my life! Pros: Great band, Great food, Great drinks Cons: Service, Early closing time more

SPICY MEATBALL / MOLTA BELLA 8/10/2002

I am a chef by proffession, and a very picky critic when it comes to Italian food. Ginas On The Water is among the 10 best Italian restaurants I have ever been to more
