I have been coming to BG eye center for many years.The one thing I have been impressed with is the time and care given me in choosing my glasses. The doctors have been caring and patient with me. I always leave confident knowing I am in good hands. They are there for me at any time. more

Wonderful and helpful folks. Being a Libertyville Vision customer, I didn't realize there was a different name, so GPS was not happy and location was a little hard to find, but personnel were great. more

I brought our daughter into the office for a kindergarten exam. Her three younger sisters also came along. Everyone in the office from the moment we walked in was very kind. There were puzzles and books to keep the little ones busy. Dr. Dowell and others were able to get my shy kindergartner to open up and follow directions. A friend of ours referred us to this practice and I would refer it to others too. I could not have asked for a better experience. more

BGE fit me in immediately for an eye condition that I suddenly developed . My eye is doing better the same day. more

I have going to this doctor for many years. I am not sure he knows what is going on while he is with his patients. He used to have an optician, Trudy. Since she has passed away no one there knows how to fit a pair of glasses. Get an optician that knows how to do their job! I have spent hundreds of dollars on glasses and if you have a problem there is a sign saying, you picked them it was your choice. Not a good business practice if you don't have someone to correctly fit you to find a frame to fit your face and prescription. There wouldn't be people coming back to try and exchange what they purchased if they were fit properly to begin with. I like the doctors, but not to have the services that are being paid for makes me think it is time to find another practice where hopefully, I can have my glasses adjusted without someone telling me that there is nothing they can do and can't remember to give out a glass case and cleaner with a new pair. All I got was the dispenser telling me "you will pay" I suggest to Dr Heimlich to take some time and either train the people selling glasses or refer them to Lens Crafters where they have licensed opticians. more

The staff always makes me feel right at home. Dr. Stec was very helpful recommending lenses that will improve most of my work day. I already have 'computer' glasses, and this new recommendation for 'intermediate' glasses will make important tasks much easier. more

I have been coming to this facility for several years and my experience is always pleasant and satisfying! Everyone is very nice and helpful and I am pleased with the doctors on staff. I have a hard time getting fitted with a decent pair of contacts because of my problems but Dr. Dowell is willing to work with me until I am satisfied. I am currently trying a pair he provided to my on my last recent visit and I am already very pleased with the results. more

Always great service and Dr. Heimlich is just awesome. I have had a major issue with one of my eyes from it being damaged and he has always been top notch in watching over it. more

As usual, my annual visit to BG Eye Care Center was a very pleasant experienc. Everyone is very pleasant, helpful and very informative. I saw the Doctor at the appointed time. I have now seen several of the Doctors and each one has been very helpful in answering any of my questions and explaining the various tests. Picking out glasses is always 'chore' but the two helpful associates makes the 'chore' much easier. My wife and I move back to the area over 3 years ago and took a family member's recommendation. I'm glad we listened. more

I like to say thank you to the entire staff at BG Eye Care. From the minute you enter to the time your service has been completed, the staff is always friendly but also demonstrates a high level of professionalism. A special thanks to Dr. Magdalena Stec for the patience and professionalism she demonstrated at each of my 3 visits I needed. First she helped correct my "dry-eye" syndrome, then she patiently helped me get the perfect pair of new contact lenses for maximum comfort. We took our new born son in for an infant exam and had a wonderful experience. The Doctor was very patient, knowledgeable and informative. We had a great experience. more

The only negative I would say is I had to wait 15-20 passed my appointment to get seen. In their defense, I was one of the last appointments on a Saturday. more
