I stayed at the Ramada Inn while visiting my grandsons who attend Cal Poly. My son (also a Cal Poly grad), his wife and two of my other grandchildren were with me. We stayed in two 2-bedroom suites which fit our needs perfectly. The suites were large, clean and comfortable. Each had a private balcony or patio area. The early morning continental breakfast was a pleasant way to start the day. The motel's employees are very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure chatting with them. It is also one of the closest motels to Cal Poly, which made our stay even more convenient.I will definitely stay there again on my next visit. I only hope they have rooms available for my grandson's graduation this coming June. more

It is far better than the luxury hotel I stayed at in SF at 4 x the price. Disabled room huge and clean. Best bed ever in a hotel. Had fridge and microwave plus free wireless. No charge for parking. The location was very quiet but convenient with restaurants nearby and close to freeway but couldn't hear freeway noise at all. The staff was polite and accomodating. I will stay here again. The place does not pretend to be anything it isn't. There are no hidden fees. For the cost and conveniences, I give it a 5. more

Nice hotel 6/21/2011

We just returned from staying at the Ramada in SLO. This was a nice hotel. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, giving us extra towels and pillows and helping us with some travel needs when we left for our airport--I was VERY appreciative of their extra help. Our suite was nice, with plenty of room and a very nice deck overlooking the creek. Our suite had a kitchen unit, and the refrigerator and coffee maker were very much appreciated, as were the ironing board and iron since we were getting ready for a wedding and had to deal with dress clothes which had been wrinkled in transit. Checking in and out was easy, the firm mattress in our room was very comfortable, and nothing "smelled" (as in smelled bad). We had plenty of room for our things. We would stay here again if we have to visit SLO in the future. more

helpful and friendly 6/2/2011

when I arrived at the Ramada, the office staff and maids were helpful and friendly, we were upgraded to two queen beds for an additional $10.00 (which I felt was reasonable),and the management offered detailed directions to some of Morro Bay's lesser known scenic vistas. The breakfast was more extensive than at other motels we stayed at during this trip. Good experience for the money. more
