Shopping at Brown's Orchards is wonderful. They have ample parking, a lovely exterior. You enter after passing some seasonal decorations outside. You will have some wonderful fragrances filling your senses. If it is the fall of the year it could be some hot mulled cider. In the spring it could smell like some lovely flowers, you just never know. Enjoy their wonderful homebaked goodies. Order a gift basket they take the time to work with you and help you select just the right items, and they deliver. I love the gift areas, find notecards, candles, beautiful wreaths. There are live plants available and gifts for people and pets. Take the family enjoy everything Brown's has to offer. more

Browns started out as a small family fruit stand connected to their orchards some 30 years ago. It has morphed into the area's premier fresh fruit and vegetable seller along with a full service bakery, gift shop, candy department, deli, flower arranger, etc., etc. Yes, there are tourists, but the family still grows their own fruit, buys vegetables locally, and all the baking is done on the premises. They will bake to your order and include sugar-free versions of thier products. Many of the deli items are local in nature harking to the Pennsylvania German heritage so common to this area. This includes Drucker Valley cheese and Amish Farmers' cheese as well as some meat products. The fruit at Brown's is terrific and becomes even more terrific baked into their pies. Brown's Orchards and Farm Market is located just outside York in Loganville. I little bit of a drive to get there, but well worth the effort! Brown's not only offers a lovely selection of home grown produce, but they also have their own in-house bakery! The baked goods range from cakes to pies to cookies to you name it! And boy oh boy, everything is out of this world GOOD!!! You can also have a nice little lunch at Brown's after or before your shopping! They offer a nice selection of deli sandwiches and a pleasant sitting area for diners. Don't overlook the gift selection while there! They offer candles, teas, home decor and outdoor decor. Also available is a large selection of candy! Gift baskets are a specialty at Brown's. You can call and order, go to their online site, or visit Brown's and custom order your gifts! Delivery is prompt and reliable, and the basket contents can range from baked goods, produce, flowers, to gifts of your choosing. Prices are fair and service is great! They make all their own baked goods themselves in their very own bakery and sometimes you can even see them baking. They carry only the best fruits and veggies, and they are all organic. They have many other things beyond just food, they carry many decorations and flowers and even much more. They will also make up gift baskets upon request. If you go I would highly recommend their lemon poppyseed cake, it is amazing. more
