Customers BEWARE, DO NOT SHOP AT BEST BUY!!! The customer service is abhorent and they present their "extended warranty" as something it is NOT. If you buy an item on sale, get the extended warranty and are unfortunate enough to need to use said warranty you are out of luck. A television (extended warranty purchased) went out. Their "geek squad" came to examine the television, stated that it was a circuit board problem that could not be repaired. Back to Best Buy with the TV only to find out that the only options as far as they were concerned were: 1) We will refund your money...duh, I don't want a refund, I want my TV. 2) Pay the difference between the sale price and the current retail price...UH, NO. I want the same product or at least one with comparable features and same size, that is what the WARRANTY is for. 3) We will give you a TV (42" in place of your 55") off brand that sells for the sale price as what you paid for the 55".
