Visiting Belmont Grill 3/6/2011

My family has enjoyed the food and service over what seems to be the last twenty five years or so. Every time has been a good experience except one with an extremely rude man claiming to be John. They have great sandwiches and usually really good specials. In all of those years I have only encountered one very rude person. I would highly suggest their food. They have a fun atmosphere for all ages. The owner was not there when this horrible employee was working. That is only time in at least twenty five years I have ever seen that. They are a very neat local landmark at both of their locations. Well worth trying! My rating would be very GOOD! more

Best Steak Sandwich Ever! 3/20/2006

The Hidden Hotspot of Memphis!! 1/2/2006

I moved from Houston, Texas to Memphis. I had thousands of fabulous restaurants at my finger tips but now that I am in memphis I would rather go to belmont over any other resaurant. The food is great, the service is quick and a great atmosphere. I am in love with the cheese sticks they serve as an appetizer!!! I have gotten many people hooked on them I highly recommend them!!! more

If you think the burgers are good try the chicken livers or the fish sandwich. great atmosphere and wonderful people not only working there but hanging there. more

Why this is listed as a sport's bar, I'll never know. TV's are too few to qualify! It is a super place to go before or after the big game. Menu is consistent as is the quality of the food at both locations, very good. Small groups are great but no large group areas exist. more

Away from the crowd! 8/21/2002

I like this place because it is not your average teen/college overun hangout. It is small but perfect. The service is always outstanding, which is rare in bar/grills. The food is good and the beer/wine selection is good. You get the atmosphere you want yet you also get good food,service, and decent crowd. I also like the fact that they are in good locations. You can go to Germantown and enjoy it instead of getting in downtown traffic, etc. LOVE it! Pros: good food, great service, not to crowded Cons: not too noisy, a little too small more

Excellent 8/19/2002

The food is hearty and really good. It's the best place in East Memphis to get a good meal and have a few drinks. It's not a romantic spot, but it's a great place for a conversation. Pros: Food, Location, drinks Cons: Parking, Seating more
