Good but not open when they say they are 9/19/2010

I rate it great for safety of older kids being there on their own and the set up they have. But they are inconsistent in opening on time and sometimes aren't open on days they say they are. Since I haven't been able to get a phone number to the skate park office itself - it's inconvenient because you can't call to see if they are in fact open or not. You have to drive all the way there, the kids get excited, and then big let down and turn around to drive home. If they ran it more professionally so they were reliably open on time and every day they say they should be I'd rate them a 5. more

Skate Park 8/18/2005

The William N McFaul Activity Center offers plenty of activities, ranging from aerobics, to basketball, to square dancing, but I think the best thing they offer is the Bel Air Skate Park. With the growing popularity of skateboarding it’s very important that there is a safe place for people (especially kids) to go skate. The skate park is for skateboarding and roller blading and offers the opportunity to practice skate tricks on your own and to and to also learn from others. It’s open everyday from late March until late November and costs about $3 a day. more
