Founded in 1962 by Preston Barron, Barron Litho is run today by three of his children and two of his grandchildren.
Barron Litho is a graphic arts trade shop in Fort Worth, Texas. Our business is to take customer's files that are created in various graphics programs and output them to film. This film is used by printers to make metal plates that can be placed on an offset press that will print the final job.
We also offer scanning services. Our laser drum scanner can scan originals as large as 18'' X 23''. Our flatbed scanners can go up to 11'' X 17'' on the original sizes. These images are either burned to CD or placed in the customer's page layout program.
In addition to the electronic pre-press we have traditional capabilities also. These include two process cameras that shoot line negatives up to 24'' X 36''. We also have a full service contacting and stripping department.
In the summer of 2002 we added a silk screen apparel printing service. With our graphic and film capabilities, we felt this was the perfect complement to our trade.
There have been many changes in the graphic arts and printing industries over the years and Barron Litho has transformed itself to reflect these changes.. GRAPHIC SERVICES
