Good service, a family restaurant 10/21/2008

I've been here tons of times and I can't say I've ever had a bad experience. The staff is friendly and the waiters and busboys are attentive to your needs. They also create a friendly atmosphere and engage the customers in conversation. The food is always cooked wonderfully, I can't say I've had a better lobster anywhere! The prices aren't overexaggerated. It's located on the Perth Amboy waterfront, so it's convenient if you want to go take a stroll after dinner. They also have a bar and upstairs portion of the restaurant if you want to hold a party (they offer buffet style for occasions). In the summer, they also offer outside seating. My only complaint is that the bathrooms are miniscule. more

Worst food 9/19/2008

\r We ordered lunch (7 entrees) for take out today. All food was bad: bad looking, bad testing. It was the worst meal we ever had. Everything were over-fried (I would said, burned out). The chicken was like a piece of cardboard box. Scallops and shrimps were dried and overcooked. Do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. And tuna steaks,we ordered last time, were not eatable too, like carton. more

I almost threw up that it was that horrible, asked to speak with manager and my waiter just took the meal off our bill. ended up speaking to a woman who was rude and just gave excuses after excuses. staff was unattentive during the meal and orignally argued in front of us who was responsible for what. found out from friend who was there 3 days prior that he also recieved horrible food and service. would not recommend to anybody! more
