Great lunch and breakfast spot, nice atmosphere 5/7/2007

Great menu options for breakfast and lunch (I have not tried dinner there yet). The food is above average in my opinion, especially if one of their specialty breads is involved. The several times I have been there, I have had really slow service; granted they are always extremely busy, but still the service is slow in my opinion. You can't go wrong with one of their baked goods or sandwiches at lunch. A good place to take people who are visiting. Great Norfolk Staple 12/9/2005

Great bread and great food. Maybe I have poor taste, but contrary to a previous review, I actually think the coffee is excellent. This restaurant would be a good choice for a first lunch date. If you love crepes, this restaurant is also an excellent choice. more

Wow, must have gone on different days 1/3/2003

sorry to hear of your horrible experiences there anon.! we have been numerous times and had nothing but pleasent experiences, like the other reviewers. guess we just went at different times. i have always found the service to be one of their strongpoints. always been very attentive to us and esp. to our 2yo by giving her extra's.........one waitress even holding her for a bit so we could finish eating. still give it high marks....... Pros: everything is good Cons: can have a wait more

TOTALLY DISAGREE 11/6/2002

This is the BEST????? NO WAY..... The Coffee is LOUSY and the service was terribly slow,,,and then they brought me the wrong order...I even went there three or four more times just to see if it was a bad day...nope same thing. And please, the coffee is so bad I have to drink tea there......NO way this is the best, Every restaurant on your list is better than this place.....with Charlies being number 1 to me. Cons: Need better Coffe, Faster service, Listen to the consume more
