I chose B&L because of the great reviews I read online. I decided to stop in and inquire about a service i wanted done. Darren and Sam were both friendly and informative. The service was done promptly and I have had no issues. I would definitely recommend B&L to anybody needing a service done right, on time and within the quote given. I will definitely be a return customer! more

First time using B and L and was completely satisfied with the service I received. I'm new to the area and this place was recommended by two co-workers. The front desk was staffed by a extremely friendly and professional person. I had inspection, oil change and tire rotation done. I called in the morning and they said they would try and fit me in. They did. more

Was amazed at how willing they were to help both me and my boyfriend , which only I had an appt with my car. Even with many cars in the back and people in the waiting room they made us feel like we were their only customers ! more

From the moment that I walked in the door, the customer service was outstanding. The estimate for repairs was accurate and was explained in detail. The repairs were completed within the timeframe given in the estimate. I will definitely bring my vehicle back to B&L for future maintenance and repairs. more

Brought my car in for warranty service on my alternator. They did real well. And were even nice about it. They replaced the alternator and the timing belt. All for free! They stand by their work. And they're good people. Darin the manager gave me excellent personal service. He cares about my car. B&L is a very excellent place to bring your car to. more

We came in for a state inspection and an oil change. Everyone was SO nice, I was kind of shocked. We were the only ones there for all but about 10 minutes of our wait (I had my two boys, a 3 year old and 10 month old, with me) and the staff put on Disney's Cars for my son which made our wait about 1000 times better. We won't be taking our van anywhere else while we live here. more

Finally found a shop I can trust! 7/22/2010

Lets face it, we all live busy lives, and sometimes we go too long without saying thanks to those who we appreciate. I would just like to take a second to say thanks to B&L and Darin the service writer for always taking good care of me. Darin is always professional and explains things so that I can understand the problem or service that I need. I feel that B&L always has my best interest in hand and strives very hard to make me feel like family. I will continue to visit B&L and refer my friends and family for their auto service. Great customer service; fair prices. They do quality work on your vehicles and also call you with a thorough assessment and prices before completing any work. I have gone to them for 4 years and have always been satisfied. more

  • The story of B&L begins in 1953 as the Mercury Armature Company, where we sold and delivered armatures all the way from Newport News down to North Carolina. This delivery process quickly grew into fixing generators, tractors, cars, and trucks and then onto supplying local auto parts stores with generators, armatures, and starters. We took on the B&L name you have come to know shortly after being founded.
