Autumn Hill

In the past nine months I have lived at Autumn Hill I have had more maintenance issues than I have had in my entire life. The staff is completely rude and have no place in a customer service industry. Even the manager does not know how to treat customers. She is snotty, arogant, and dismissive. But this is just the start of the problems here. In the first two months at Autumn Hill I was robbed by me next door neighbor while I used the on-site gym (which is full of broken equipment). Two weeks later he was arrested for armed robbery of an apartment two building down. The rest of the complex is full of drug dealers and users and drug distribution and use goes on in plain sight. Management does not seem to care about either these issues or maintenance problems. Just last night I was forced to rent a hotel (which I will not be compensated for) because my apartment was filled with the smell of putrid chemicals to the point that I threw up. The staff at the emergency call center gave me the worst customer experience of my life and the staff at Autumn Hill didn't care this morning when I informed them of the situation. BAD APARTMENT COMPLEX, WORSE NEIGHBORS, AND EVEN WORSE STAFF! The only redeeming quality is that the actual maintenance men are courteous, friendly, helpful, and respectful .... too bad they can't run the place. more

DO NOT RENT HERE!! In the past six months there have been two shootings and several assaults (most right outside my building) that have gone unnoticed and unacknowledged by management. Nothing has been done to increase safety and security of the complex---NOTHING. Even though management has been advised of multiple situations, they have yet to organize a response. Prospective tenants should be aware that this is a high-crime area---don't be swayed by the pretty online pictures and great advertised deals. This deal is actually too good to be true! more

Horrible place to live! Stay away at all cost! We lived there for nine months and paid our rent on time every month. However, four of the nine months we received an eviction notice stating that we never paid. I had to continually go to the office to straighten this out. When we moved out they said that everything was paid and we owed nothing. I asked for a letter stating this because I knew that they were poor at keeping records. A year later I received a letter in the mail stating that I owed a month and a half's rent and if I did'nt pay this they would report it on my credit. I told them I had their letter stating I owed nothing. They said they would not honor THEIR OWN LETTER and that I owed the money. Unbelievable. I read other negative comments on similar websites such as this, but I ignored them thinking this place can't be that bad. Please don't make the same mistake that I made. Pros: that you can eventually move out Cons: too long to list more
