My dog, a Chesapeake Bay/Lab mix had some serious inherent hind quarter deficiencies. In 2001, at 3 years of age, she destroyed her left hind ACL playing in the river where I was fishing. Took her to DR Rich Jackson and he performed a great reconstructive surgery on that left leg. About a year later she did the same to her right leg. Again Dr Jackson performed the same procedure on her right leg. Today, 10/2006 she is better than new. I mean that, she is certainly better than new. She is still fishing with me. I fish the Truckee river, American River, the Sacramento River and she is right there with me. We also work her out in the Pacific surf and she is doing just great. If anyone needs to consider whether or not Dr. Jackson is the one to do this procedure, do not worry, he is the best there is, in my opinion.\r
