Don't trust them 12/6/2008

My first visit I just got x-rays. The dentist told me I needed some antibiotic fluid during my cleaning for a small extra fee. When the sales lady came in to give me the quote she told me I would have to pay $150 for a cleaning and the fluid. I have insurance that I thought would cover the cleaning, but she told me it did not. Went home and checked my insurance plan: sure enough, insurance pays for my basic cleaning. She was trying to sell me the $100 dollar deep cleaning. Don't trust this place. more

Dentist!! 8/20/2005

Usually I dislike going to the dentist, but not the Cerritos Dental Center. Whenever I come in for my 6 months teeth cleaning, they are quick and efficient. After every visit I usually am given a toothbrush; if not I always ask and they always give me one. The dentist provides good advice- flossing and taking care of your teeth. more

Starting Braces 6/17/2005

This place was recommended to me by close family that has gone there as well. The starting procedures for ortho (deep cleaning, x-rays, check ups etc) have been very pleasant. It's sort of time consuming if you have problems with your mouth to begin with. The staff are truly concerned about patients. However, they do not share any information about the state of your mouth (teeth, gums, xrays etc) unless you ask. The only time they talk to you is to suggest how to better your mouth, which usually goes something like - brushing your teeth more often and flossing. Overall very careful not to hurt patients and always have meds for cleanings. The cleanings are more expensive for this reason though. more
