Affordable Party Rentals is absolutely fantastic! When I first saw the reviews on this company, I was a little skeptical. Come to find out, they are under new ownership since the previous reviews! I can't say enough good things about this company. The girls in the office are so helpful and make sure everything goes smoothly. I changed and added things last minute and it was super easy to do! I defiantly recommend using this company! more

Not Happy 6/13/2012

I would like to modify my review from below--while my first experience with Affordable rentals was not completely satisfying, their follow up customer service has convinced me to try them again. The company proactively found me, has made three calls, explained that they were the new puchasers of the business, acknowledged the issues and are taking corrective action.. In addition, I received a refund check for the chairs. I completely trust that they will not have the sort of issues that concerned me again. I was truly impressed by the follow up and would recommend that those in Collierville support this local business.. Pros: null Cons: null more

They are very flexible and very good communicators. I have used other party rental services in the past and have not had a good experience. Do NOT use them!! 10/5/2011

They called me twice stating that I still owed them payment & that my payments were late. I had actually asked them to run my credit card in full both times, but this was obviously too difficult for them to manage. When they called me, Tammy didn't even have my contract with in front of her & "could not find it anywhere." They finally found it "under a stack of papers" on someone else's desk. That billing incident happened twice. I emailed them a question about my rentals which took them a week to respond to. more

40th Birthday Bash 9/13/2008

I used this company for a my husband's 40th birthday party and have only great things to say about them. Everything went very smoothly, everything was delivered on time, and everyone I dealt with was extremely friendly. I would definitely use them again. The rest of unhappyjunebride:....Which as of now I wish I would have charged you another full rental fee. You have the right to choose to not use me but lets be clear that you did get a contract that stated when the items had to be returned. And Amie I assure you that the other companies in town would have charged you another full rental and not even discussed it with you. So future Brides do not hesitate to call us or come out to see our items and prices we will go over the contract and show you any and all reasons that additional fees may and will apply. Just do not let ONE Bride (in my eight years of Business ) that failed to follow the contract and not want to pay the penalty get mad and write every where that we are a bad company. I will be glade to provide anyone with hundreds of referrals ( personal and corporate) that you can check us out. Brides 6/23/2008

Dear unhappy June Bride: Amie when your Mother called to let the office know your items were going to be returned a day late the person answering the phone told your Mom ok but never went over any late fees because management does that. When I came into the office from lunch I saw the note that the items were going to be returned a full late and called the first number on the contract to let you know items are charged a late fee and got your voice mail. I am very sorry you did not understand the contract that items had to be returned on Monday which is clearly stated. I am very Sorry the facility was closed on Monday. You should have know in advance that the facility would be closed and made appropriate arrangements. It is not Affordable Party Rentals fault your place was closed. A few things that were said to me on the phone gave me the impression that you just didn't want to pay a late fee at any cause and that no matter what you were right and I was wrong. That I was unethically and immoral and a bad business person. You Mother actually stated to me that rules were made to be broken, and that all contract had Gray areas. Mine does not have gray areas it actually states in three different places that items are charged time out until they are returned. And a return date is printed on the contract. You also stated that if you had known of late fees your mother would have jumped the fence at the facility and gotten the items. The facility was closed so you were telling me that your mom was going to break the law and trespass to get items. So from those statements your family has no regard to rules and laws, and contracts and feel it should be your way or no way. Grand Events or Mahaffy or any other Rental company in Town would have charged you a late fee. Now the difference in what I charged you and them would be that I only charged you half of another rental of $161 instead of another full rental of $322. more

Issue resolved 6/23/2008

I had a disagreement with the owner over some additional charges for several items that were rented a few months ago. The issue is resolved and I am now satisfied with the end result. Pros: affordable more
