We chose ADA Studio to do the photography for our wedding in May of 2011. They were at a bridal showcase at our hall and came highly recommended from them. Our pictures are wonderful and looking at back at them brings us back to that wonderful day. Our photographer Steve was wonderful. He was calm and friendly and took some amazing shots. All of the staff that we have since spoken to or dealt with have been very helpful and accommodating. She was amazing from the beginning to the end. She knew exactly what to do, and made everyone feel comfortable and kept the flow of the pictures without it being overwhelming. ADA studios was my first and only choice for photography and I am sooo glad we booked with them! We saw them at a bridal showcase and were so impressed with the people there. They really care about each and every couple that they work with. When we made an appointment and sat down with Tony, we knew that we made the right choice. He is very experienced, he knows exactly what he is doing. He put me at ease and took the stress out of booking vendors for me. He even recommended a few other vendors for invites and limos and EVERYONE that we worked with made our day AMAZING! Our day was amazing because we were surrounded by so many wonderful vendors who gave us 1000% and really cared about us as a couple and the turnout of our day. On our wedding day, Tony showed up with his assistant on time and introduced himself to everyone. He comes prepared with everything a bride would need in his pouch; bobby pins to fix hair, etc. He was very pleasant and took AMAZING shots! He joked with us and put everyone at ease. He has excellent vision and all the pictures are absolutely breathtaking! We got the proofs only two weeks later and he gave cards to our parents and all of our bridal party to view the pictures online. Everyone was calling me raving about how fantastic they all were. Its not going to be easy to pick out pictures for our album, theyre all amazing every single one! If you need a photographer for your wedding day, ADA studios is absolutely the best choice hands down! You wont be disappointed with them, theyre very professional and friendly! more

DO NOT USE ADA!! You will wait 2 years for your album!!! Spend your $6,000 elsewhere! Where to begin.... The reason that I chose ADA is because they were at a bridal showcase, where one of the photographers was there showing their work. Their work seemed nice and I really liked the photographer. 14 months early, I requested him specifically. Well, on the day of my wedding, SURPRISE! They had sent someone else without even notifying me. The photographer they did send seemed rush, inexperienced, and did not do ANY of the ""traditional shots"". I specifically asked for candid shots, of which he took about 10 of them! My wedding ended at 9pm, and by 8:30 they were packing up, which in turn made for a very abrupt ending to my video. I did receive my video about two months after my wedding, but I am however STILL waiting for my album and it has been nearly two years. ADA uses a 3rd party for production of the album, which I was unaware of. It is a lot of back and forth and nearly impossible to get a straight answer from any of the girls in the office. When I asked to speak to the owner they replied, ""don't bother, he doesn't know what's going on."" Yeah, well, neither do they apparently. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! They are a frustrating unorganized company and don't really care what happens with your project once the contract is signed and the check is signed. more

From the moment we met our photography, we were at ease with him and our unique situation. They were wonderful to deal with & worked with our budget. We loved all the proofs and the photo favors were top notch. We love that we (with everything else we received), we got the pictures that were taken on that day. We highly recommend ADA and Tony Sandee & Ted were complete professionals. Thanks guys! more

ADA Studios is by far the BEST photographer on Long Island. They are doing our upcoming wedding in November. The staff is phenomenal and extremely helpful! The photographers all have an amazing gift to capture moments in the most artistic and creative ways. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!! more

To start with, the photographer was not good. Not to many good photos of my wedding. Due to conditions beyond my control, I didn't get my photos right away. I called to get my negatives from 2001 and I was informed that they were thrown away. I called them a couple years ago when I come to settle in a house and asked about my wedding pictures and the mature lady who always answered the phone took my name and date and said it would be no problem that my pictures would always be there and I had no time frame to get them. Today I was informed that they are gone. Their customer service are the rudest bunch of women you ever want to talk to. How disappointed I am that my wedding photos are gone for ever. more

The pictures came out really nice the staff on the other hand not so nice They will bug the heck out of you before the wedding then don't care about you once its over...The video is good but make sure you ask to have input because they just made my video and gave it to me, when I watched it there was something mildly offensive in it that one of the guests did, I bought it back and they hassled me quote we dont make memories we record them....well lady you edit videos don't cha?? fix it! more

One headache after another, disrespectful staff in office, said one thing and would do another, forgot to take pictures we requested, I could go on all day, this company is a joke! more

My wedding was a month ago and Big John was my photographer through ADA. I was very pleased with his work. He was very friendly and did his job behind the scenes. I did not talk to him once at my reception and was able to also enjoy my cocktail hour. I already have my proofs and they look amazing. I definitely got my moneys worth. Highly recommand Big John through ADA studios. Pros: Great Pictures Cons: None - I got what I paid for Amazing pictures more

My biggest problem is that they refuse to give you the digital proofs until after your album layout is done. Their reason being that they need them to make the album. When I asked why they couldn't just make me a copy on a disk, they said ""because then there would be disks everywhere."" Um, what? As far as I know, every other photography studio in the world lets you have digital proofs. Pros: Pictures are nice Cons: Rude customer service, refusal to give copies of digital proofs more

If you want to be promised the world and taken advantage of this is your studio! First they outsource their work so my video guy didnt even know what company he was working for that day. Both him and the photo guy came late and left early. The pictures...out of 600....145 were cropped, so really we got 455 pictures. Time frames were all wrong. The staff in the office is rude and unhelpful. . They make it as you are doing them a favor. Don?t use them, save yourself aggravation. You don?t want to be the bride I was that had to keep telling the photographer that the camera belongs in his hands taking pictures not in the corner while he is doing nothing! Cons: way too many to write more
