Acar Taxi

much seems to have changed for acar taxi since the last review in 2008. and not for the good. the story is that i called Acar Taxi 8 hours ahead of time to reserve a taxi to pick me up at the exton train station and take me home 10 miles away. i spoke with someone named chris. he said no problem and i made the reservation for 8:45 pm on monday night (1/9/12). i arrived to find no car waiting. i called chris again and he told me that a car should have been there, asked me to give him a minute and that he'd call me right back. 15 minutes went by with no car and no call from chris. i called him twice more but he never picked up his phone again. i guess chris was in for the night and didn't want to be bothered with an obligation he'd made. bottom line: i was left stranded in the middle of january, late in the evening. more

The driver's are all fire fighters at the local fire station so they know where they are going and the shortest best route to avoid traffic. Sat. radio and GPS Driver's groomed and friendly. Cars are clean inside and out. Thanks to AMTRAK for recomending them. Pros: Clean reliable comfortable cars vans.
