I took my car here for a free transmission check because my car was slipping. They told me that I was going to need a new transmission, which i cant afford so i took it to another...

A guy you can trust! 10/26/2007

I have been taking my autos to Tim's for over 10 years. Being a single mom taking my only auto to be checked out was somewhat nerve racking but Tim and his crew made it easy. I thought my tranny was not shifting correctly. He put it up on the lift and checked it out at no cost! Luckily my tranny was in good shape! He could have told me it needed work and I would have believed him. Pros: Friendly. Honest. more

Tim and his staff did an outstanding job with my transmission work! I could not be more pleased with the service that I received. They even made a quick adjustment not related to the tranny work. Thanks Tim! more

Best bet for your auto and your wallet 11/9/2006

I had previously been to this shop for transmission service and was happy with the work they did and the prices charged. I felt they did a good job and did not sell me services I didn't need or overcharge me. Pros: Thumbs up more

Fantastic service 8/1/2006

I've had 2 transmissions rebuilt at Tim's and have been having my other transmissions serviced by him for 5 years. I'm overjoyed with his service. He's charged what he said he would and the jobs were done when he said they would be. When I'm having a problem his technicians will take the time to figure out what's wrong and won't just recommend replacing the tranny. I've recommended this shop to several friends and they've been pleased with the work as well. Thanks. more

Best transmision shop in Beaverton area 7/14/2006

I own the general repair shop, but when I have transmission problem I always call Aatco Transmission, because they are honest and stand behind their work. They have very experience crew working overthere, Dan ( the shop foreman ) is very good at what he does, he spend time to test drive with customer and explain the what wrong with it. The owner Tim very nice man, I have problem eventhough not their fault, their still take care of me, without question ask. Highly recommend to anyone in the Portland Metro Area Pros: excellent service, highly recommended more

Tim's AATCO has provided me honest and affordable transmission and clutch servicing for over 15 years. 7/14/2006

You won't find a better transmission and clutch shop around! Some may be cheaper, but are not as honest. Tim will give you ""straight-forward"" evaluation of your transmission and/or clutch condition, then do quality repair and/or servicing to keep your vehicle on the move. He also stands behind his work and will fit you into a busy shop schedule if you have servicing that is untimely, such as an emergency or late repair prior to a vacation. Preventative maintenance is the key though, so every vehicle owner needs to follow their owners ""maintenance manual"" servicing schedules to avoid costly repairs. You know... the one in your glove box with all the dust on it! And No, other than transmission or clutch servicing, I'm not his buddy. But he is a personable character and he knows his stuff... which I highly respect and that is why I took the time to provide this review VOLUNTARILY. Pros: Thumbs UP!!! Cons: None that I can think of. more

A SHOP A WOMEN CAN TRUST!! 7/13/2006

I went into Tim's Aatco in Beaverton on Wed. for a transmission repair. Being a woman I was quite nervous but the men there were very kind and very knowledgeable. My car was done on time, it was slightly cheaper than they quoted me too. I would highly recommend this shop, even though they were busy, they were very friendly and timely. Pros: GREAT JOB VERY REASONIBLE PRICE. more
