I decided to get ADT a few months ago after increased crime in my community. I called on a Tuesday and the installer was there on Wednesday. I had a few false alarms as I got used to the system, but the staff was always courteous and nice to me, no matter what! more

I have my new ADT Security system installed. My brother suggested ADT and so far I am exceptionally happy with the service. I would say that when it comes to home security and safety of our family and our possessions it’s better to check for the value you get for your asset. I was an adt customer for 17 yrs. I paid my monthly service plus a $6.00 service fee. My system required service three times in seventeen years. The last time I was told that the equipment was out dated and could not be serviced. The equipment would have to be replaced at a cost of over $300.00. Because I was an adt customer I did not qualify for any promotions or discounts. This is company policy. In seventeen years I paid them $1,224.00 in service fees and $8,000.00 in monitoring fees for a total of $9,180. I guess new customers are more important then old ones. I have changed to Brinks Home Security. New and better equipment and a better monthly rate. Free instalation and a $10.00 a month savings over adt. Please look hard at adt before signing a contract. more

I was able to get the system installed next day which was very important to me. The installer got the system in my townhouse pretty quickly and gave me a tutorial on the keypad. Keypad is easy to use. more
