I will try to keep this short and sweet. but I have a few things that I NEED to say. My cat Henry's bladder started to rupture from bladder stones. I brought him to another animal hospital and spent nearly $2000 there. He was transferred to Logan Square Animal Hospital where they recommended immediate surgery on him. Dr. Konstaninov went over all the risks with me, and so we went ahead and did the surgery. He stayed an addition 5 days for recovery. The staff allowed me to visit him everyday, and they called me anytime something notable happened (when he ate, etc). With 5 days there, plus all the care he got, it was less than $1000, half the cost of the other place, and I got a second opinion on the surgery and they were both in agreement. Let me say that Henry was in very serious condition when he was brought there, and Logan Square Animal Hospital did a GREAT job with him. If he didn't have the surgery at that point in time. it probably would have meant more time, and complications, and he even could have died. I have brought 4 pets to Logan over the past 5 years or so, and they always do a good job with them. I HIGHLY recommend them...I live on the northshore, and I STILL go all the way down there/ Getting an appointment is SUPER easy. Usually just call ahead. Im sick of this place getting bad reviews. I understand not everybody has a good experience, but cats and dogs can't say whats wrong like people, and unfortunately, people don't want to spend the money to find out whats wrong..thats not a vet's fault. I've never EVER had a bad experience here, and actually, we've pulled pets from other vet's to bring to Logan because of issues. Again, I recommend this vet.
